what is this bounty hunter stuff all about?

Wow It has been a year since I have played runescape and so much has changed I guess. What's this new bounty hunter stuff...I hear its the only way to do blackmarket stuff nowadays. Anybody care to explain?

 

It's a piece of crap minigame jagex released in an attempt to stop rwt. All it did is make the process of rwt a little harder and it also pissed of the whole of the runescape community.

 

It's an edition to ruining RuneScape.

Since the wilderness has been made PVE, BH is the only PVP minigame where you can die and you opponent will receive your items.

 

Bounty hunter is a minigame where your in a big arena with 30+ people and you have an assigned target to kill, you can use the bounty locate spell to teleport to them. If you decide not to kill your target and to kill anybody you fancy you are a "rouge". When you kill them you will recieve a pick-up penalty this means you cant pick up items that other players have dropped for 180 seconds, if you decide to be a rebel or the loot is just too good you can pick it up but you therefore break the rules of bounty hunter and you get a "cannot leave" penalty. This is where you can't leave for 180 seconds and you cannot use the prayer protect item.
What most experianced players do is kill the person and then memorise where the drop is and run to the bank, bank thier items and come back and pick it up and then endure the penalty and hope to god nobody comes to attack you
If you die you lose all items, penalty or no penalty
