Explanation of the trade: I was going to purchase the name Kagome from smot, for 50m for the name + i cover bonds.
Amount scammed: 9m = 2 bonds
How they scammed:The name is bound to the account, i double name changed, and was rejected, to add onto my own account.

Name is bound to the account, it can never leave the account, I wasted 9m = 2 bonds on the account. He may get the name back on the account after he has a name change available.

 

@smot you will need to refund the user 9m or 2 bonds. Let me know when you have done so.

 

The name is rejected for the original account. I've lost the name, also had no knowledge of anything. I gave him account info and all. I didnt take his money. Have a good day.

 

@smot you have not lost the name , don’t act like this is anyone’s first time here, you’re the newcomer. The name is bound to your account , once u have a name change available you can just get the name back. Your account wasn’t banned (obviously I logged into it) so that means your name is bound to your acc.

 

After speaking to multiple staff members, @smot you are not liable for the bonds. @Weekday you have been warned in the past that you should be checking if names were bound before transferring in this report. Weekday isn't the only one at fault here though, there was negligence on both sides of this deal. @smot you should be informed with what you are selling in the future so something like this doesn't occur in the future. If it does, you will be issued a Trade with Caution for poor trading practices.
