The future of OSRS

I'm going to make this short and sweet.

I think anyone who is into MMORPG, especially on the mobile platform, is going to be picking up OSRS
and playing it. It has to be the most unique MMORPG that's on the phone and from here on out I see
OSRS potentially having the 150,000 players online mid-day as real 2007 did.

I seen 107,000 today, amazing.

Honestly very excited for the future of this game. I don't expect it to go back to how it was in 2005-2012 but it's definitely going to gain alot of players from where we are now.

The game is growing and I don't see it stopping anytime soon.. Mobile will change Runescape forever.

I certainly will be playing as soon as it’d in full effect for Apple. To be honest I don’t enjoy sitting at a desk whilst playing I prefer laying down as I’ve dealt with disc issues and being sedentary becomes quite a nuisance if my conditions aren’t absolutely perfect.

 

It works fine on Apple brother. Been playing on mobile all day

 

RS had 250k+ online daily in 2007. Granted, I would estimate at least 1/3 of those were bots, where a much lower percentage is botting now.

 

was amazing to see 100k+ players on launch day, I can't wait to see what we can achieve when Runescape spend Mod Jeds salary on Marketing!

Regardless, its growth of Jagex staff, investment into mobile and players is only a good sign!

 

I don't even think JaGeX themself expected OSRS to be as successful as it is today
