Obby Hybrid Guide [training from lvl 3 to lvl 31]

If you do not know what an obby hybrid is, please read my short explanation on how it can benefit by going on my profile and looking at the "obby hybrid" thread" thanks


LVL 3-LVL 10

OK, so you want an obby hybrid, you just got off of tutorial island, your more broke than a hobo, and you have a wc axe, and other noob items. First thing is first.

1.)Go to the man that beats the dragon in tutorial island and ask him for lamps, use them on str. (idk his name).
2.) Go complete the safety stronghold quiz and get the two xp lamps and use them only for strength.
3.)Go to through the poster in the stronghold of safety and navigate your way to the safety gloves and the free 10K.
4.)Buy a steel scimitar and an iron scimitar, as well as full iron from grand exchange (make sure to get the iron skirt set IT WILL COME IN HANDY LATER)
5.)Buy at least 50 trout.
6.)Complete the barbarian thing wear u get 10K and boots (fancy boots ftw )
7.)Fight cows and train str only till ur cb lvl 10(21 str i think). Make sure to get the cow hides, at least 50, then sell for 100+ each.
8.)Buy 500-2K bronze arrws depending on how mch you have left(yes bronze arrws- theyre cheap and youll still hit 2-3 at 20 range i think)


LVL 10-20

So now you should have 20+ str.

1.) Buy a bow, a willow bow, a maple bow, and an oak bow, chaps, studd chaps(if u have the cash), leather body, and a coif and leather cowl.
2.)Train str to 23-26 on cows. Again, collect cowhides and sell them at every 100 bunch u get.
3.)Wear the standard noob range gear and start ranging on men and women. They dont hit. They die pretty fast. At 10 ranged, you should purely train on cows till 20-25 ranged. Collect all cowhides. Picking up arrws is a good idea.
4.)Wear studd legs, iron full helm, iron pl8, iron skimm, and iron kite. Train attk to 5.
5.)OPTION 1:Buy 400 body runes, and enough elemental runes to support weaken, and curse. Train mage to 25-30. This is for the obby hybrids who wish to stay low cb.
OPTION 2:Go to fist of guthix. Train mage to 25-30 there. Use fist of guthix tokens for iron gauntlets. This is for those who dont want to spend money on runes and dont care about a lvl or 2 higher than option 1.


LVL 20-31

Now you have good stats, and you wanna show em off.

1.)Go to duel arena and stake 500gp each time(train there till lvl 40 str and 35 ranged, yes it sounds time consuming but youll get cash pretty easily)Also wear the iron skirt full set so ppl think ur a hardcore str pure, then take em out using range/skimmy combo, which is faster and more effective than range/2h. Buy steel or mithril arrws at 30 ranged. At least 100.
2.)Get attk to 10 and buy a blk skimmy (2Hs are useless!!! they hit slow, and in the time that a 2h misses or hits a 0, a skimmy can hit 2 clean 5s)
3.)Now train str to 42-43 at either duel arena(if ur cocky), minotaurs(for iron arrws), or cows(for hides).
4.)Train ranged to 40 and use the "hardcore str pure" trick and then range them with miths or steels. Skimmy/range combo is usually used to finish them off with a nice hit.
5.)Train str to 50 at where ever you please, you can provide yourself with food too.(Dont go to like greater demons ffs -.-)
6.)Get mage to 40 using either of the two techniques i have mentioned.(option 1/2).

Info: An obby maul is expensive,therefore, you can get ur account to 60 wc for cash and 40+ cooking/fishing for food before OR after you are a member. Preferably before, since you'll have more time for quests, etc. instead of skilling in members wrld :nuts: )

Alright guide but usually, they train range with cannons to elimate getting hp exp, therefore, you only have xp from strength...

Guide would also be better with pictures...
