The Existence of God

So your saying your an ignorant fool that ignores logic just so you can feel more comfortable knowing your going to a better place? All your saying is your to much of a coward to live life without being sheltered by false hopes.

If god gave evidence of his existance, id be man enough to say, well i was wrong, there is a god. but for you to say you will ignore facts so you can keep your little fairy land safe then you are beyond help, and your opinion on the matter is biased and worthless.

 

Stop arguing about beliefs, it's pointless.

Just because you believe in life after death it doesn't make exist.

You live, you die. That's it. There is no masterplan.
And if there is life after death, it's there.
So what? Why do I have to believe in it and hope for it to be there, just to be disappointed when it's not there?

Why would it "Suck" to cease existence? I did not exist before I was conceived - is this hard to comprehend?

 

I don't believe in god and all, but still one thing confuses me. What makes us control ourselves? I don't really know how to put it, like the thing Christians call a "soul". What makes you inside your body? Why am I myself?

 

Your brain sends instructions via the nervous system. That is how you can move.

Incidently, the brain relies on the heart for blood, and the heart relies on the brain for instruction.

 

I know about that lol, it's hard to explain. I mean like how does it feel like I'm inside my body and your inside yours, and why did we get put in the bodies were in?

 

We have brains do we not? Is it really that hard to comprehend that we have one? Is it really that hard to comprehend that your brain tells your body what to do?

Say you flex your fingers, your brain sends messages via the nervous system to the muscles in your hands to extend or contract. Simple.

This is a debate and sadly believers in god never manage to last very long here. Hmmmm i wonder why....

hell ya im an ignorant fool if thats what u want to call me. i believe in god cause i like to live life as a good person, i dont believe in god because im scared to go to hell. if god believes im meant to go to hell than let it be but i will continue to follow him just because it makes my life a hell of a lot better.

 

I do not believe in a God. I can write up an entire essay justifying each and every reason for the absence of this illusion in my life but I'd prefer not to. My core reason is simple, there is no physical evidence linking to the existence of God in anything, anywhere. Science provides mountains of research and physical evidence, backed up by hundreds of years of examination all leading to conclusions that simply can not be refuted or denied (especially by religion) and are undoubtedly 100% true.

 

well kurt just because YOU dont believe in god doesnt make him not exist...
