[Guide] How to induce lucid dreams [Guide]

SLdnUk, I honestly doubt that.

 

This is what the dream diary is for, it helps increase dream recall.

Not to put the OP down but i'm somewhat a expert on lucid dreams. Most of the first post is correct, except for the first few points, It's just as easy to induce lucid dreaming on a healthy sleep cycle. Erratic sleeping patterns might help in some cases- but probarly only because your body/mind is exausted.

It's better to look it up and follow a simple routine. You can easily become a lucid dreamer with a normal sleep cycle.

Though i imagine lots of people on here don't have one anyway :laugh:

 

Yeah I can only remember me having a few lucid dreams, 2 involved me feeling great and being able to fly around a room, and the other was a nightmare where I was drowning underwater, although I could breathe... Weird.

 

This guide is incredible. The best one I've seen on this site so far. 10/10. Keep 'em coming.

 

Heh ... Yup i do this often ... but I do it diferent way ....

I play runescape / wow for 12hrs + get COMPLETELY tired ... Go to sleep tahinking only about runescape , what you will do tomorow , about xp gp and shit ... Then like 20 mins after going sleep , think if the things you see , are real , are they really possible .... Then all the fun begins .... You can control your dreams ... last time i dreamed that , i jumped off 100th floor with some girl , snorting coke of her tits (no offence , it's only a dream) ...

And yes , i had that sleep apralysis once ... like at 3 Am i opened my eyes in middle of awesome dream .... And i couldn't move ... And i had a really bad trip - I was laying on bed , couldn't move , and i knew i wasn't dreaming anymore lol that happened when i done dreaming for like 2 weeks (i really was hooked on rs )

Come to think of it actually, I can't remember having Lucid Dreams before but I can remember once or twice when I was young not being able to move and seeing weird things, I just never made this connection.

I'm going to edit the sleep paralysis part. It seems to scare too many people.

 

Last time i had sleep paralysis I saw nothing at all. weird huh?

 

No thats what I mean, its extremely common to see nothing! I just didn't want to scare the shit out of people. It just happened to me once and i wanted people to know so they wouldn't die lol.

 

Yeah people don't need to get worked over it I highly doubt you will see anything, Cause When I had I saw nothing and i just went back to sleep. When I woke up it was over.

 

Nice guide, I don't remember ever having a 'lucid dream' but I'm definitely going to try this out. Let's just hope I'm not stuck in an oven or drowning

Now that I think about it, I think I have had a lucid dream before.
Undefined's post reminded me of a dream I had where I was drowning under water but could breath, just like his. I was panicking alot and it almost felt like i was dying. After this dream, I woke up and felt like I was falling, and my leg shot up. I was in a pool of sweat and I couldn't move for about 15-30 seconds. But I've had that happen in normal nightmares too. Was that sleep paralysis, or just me freaking out?

This is a good guide, I think I just had a lucid dream yesterday on accident, it was weird.

 

I think I've had these before. Would it be right to say I had one in the following:I was having a dream on something to do with my life, and I knew that to wake up all i had to do is say wake up to myself. I got bored of my dream and then I said wake up. I woke up.
