Depends on your definition of "underground."

Death Metal is considered an "underground" genre by many, and I listen to a lot of it.

In this case,

Behemoth, Death and Morbid Angel are probably my favourite Death Metal bands at the moment.

 

Keep them coming =P

I want to expand my taste a little bit, hopefully others will too =]

 

Hmm... some bands that most people may have not heard of... these aren't all underground so don't bother flaming, just bands the majority probably won't know or atleast I havent seen anyone talk about them. although maybe heard of some of there songs.
