iPhone XS vs. iPhone XS Max

For Apple iPhone users (or anyone who wants to contribute their opinion):

Which would you pick between the two? I'm debating on whether I want the iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max when my contract ends with my phone company; need some opinions (maybe pros and cons?)

I like both iPhones, but I feel as if the Max's screen display is a little too big considering I am not a 'big' person.

The XS max phone footprint is the same as the plus models of the previous generation.

I personally prefer the bigger screen- I study a lot on my phone, and watch youtube videos, powerpoints, one note, so the bigger screen is quite useful.

If you aren't a big screen person, the xs is more than adequate enough in terms of screen size.

 

My iPhone 6 Plus broke on me a month before the XS and Xs max release so I didn’t have a choice and had to just get the X. The one thing I’ve noticed from switching to a smaller phone is that it’s certainly easier to carry around in my pocket. I do sometimes miss the extra screen space though so if I had a choice I’d probably get the max since I had already used a big phone for many years. That being said, you should definitely go into the Apple store and check out the phones for yourself to see if the Max is worth the extra bulk.

Thanks for the input! I do like the bigger screen for sure, but the question is how it'll fit into my pockets.

Was it a hassle having to walk around with the big phone in your pocket? I'm thinking of getting the max but I also like the XS.

Definitely fits into my pofects perfectly fine, and I wear funky scrubs all day.

 

Would definitely go with the Iphone XS MAX. You're paying over a grand anyway for just a phone if its the XS or MAX. Why dont go with the best than.

 

I don't get how they bring out a new version literally no time in between the version before. To answer your question i'd say XS MAX but honestly i bought the iphone X and i dont see why i should upgrade for the next 2 years ish lol

 

So personally I don’t invest in any expensive electronics, I find it to be a waste of money. However, I do think that mainly the screen size would depict which one of the two I would choose. I like phones with a bit smaller screens. I would pick the normal model

 

As for me, now the iPhone 8+ is the best option. I had X and I regardless of that returned to the model 8+, I generally keep quiet about new models. Unreasonable price.

 

I have the iPhone X and find it great, however on my most recent visit to the apple store I played around on the XS Max. My initial thoughts after the Keynote were TOO BIG! However when side by side with my iPhone X there was very little difference, so I think that'll be my next purchase to celebrate the launch of RS mobile too haha!

 

Both models are overpriced. As for me, for this price you can buy a good laptop or a couple of ASICs using which you can mine.
