How to check how much RAM you have. (Windows XP)

Hello.

Today I am going to teach you how much RAM (Random Access Memory) you have.


Go ahead and go down to the Start button and click it.



Click run and a dialog box will pop up.

Type in dxdiag and click ok. A message might pop up but just click ok.



Now you can see how much RAM you have, your OS, etc.







Note:

You can go to other tabs to see info about those categorys.

This can seriously help with a lot of troubleshooting problems when you ask your question.

I was looking up Osama because I wanted to see how his name was spelled cause I saw it on America's Most Wanted.

 

Or you can just: (XP, IDK about vista.)
Click Start
Right click 'My Computer'
Click 'Properties'
It will tell you in the 'General' tab, under computer.
How very easy.

 

Yes but with my way you can also see what your video card is and etc. I put it in the notes. You can also do video tests for troubleshooting.
