    Workout plan suggestion

    Hello sythe fitness club,

I worry I'm on the track to becoming skinny fat and was wondering if anyone has suggestions on workout plans. Im incredibly lazy and work in an office all day and eventually this is gonna have an impact on my body. I was in wrestling and bjj for years so i know how to work out, but I'm at the point where I lost track on what to do in the gym.

Eating will be the hardest thing with trying to get fit since I eat out every meal. Hamburgers and steak and fast food. I'm too lazy to learn how to cook.

Do yall have any suggestions on getting started? Are there good phone apps that can help build a workout program?

Goal is to get more toned pretty much. I'm trying to get back into jiu jitsu so I need to be fit.

    I weight 150lbs, 6'2" and im 21 years old

    Thanks

Something as easy as making time for an early morning or late night run could make all the difference.
I would encourage not to wait on getting back into jiu jitsu. It gets you active, but makes the work out fun.
so it helps with any mental barrier you may have, and gets you the results you want.
a good diet in my opinion is the hardest part. young people that are always on the go have little time for meal prep or sitting down for healthy meals, when the drive through is easy and convenient.
Depending on where you live, some company's will actually make and package healthy meals that you just have to keep refrigerated, and heat up when you are ready for them. Rice, veggies, ect. they come in a big box, and will supply you for a good amount of time.
BUT, a service like that comes with a good price tag. remember to compare that to what you spend eating out.
Overall it's really on you to make the time to ensure your intake is what it needs to be. Honestly that by itself will greatly help with your goals.
Here to help if you need anything else.

Just moderating how much calories you intake and what kind of foods you are ingesting is more than enough to stay within a weight bracket. Generally basic workouts to stay in shape can be done at home too like simple jogging.

However if someones' goal is simply to lose weight/train endurance I would highly recommend doing interval training with sprinting where you just sprint 5 seconds and then walk 10 seconds repeat. Can even be done in your backyard and will also improve strength/endurance. Just try to be able to do that for 15-20 min every other day or something.

For strength training it's best to get a gym membership as that will be the most affordable method to gain access to all the necessary equipment. You can find workout guides that run you through gym routines pretty easily.

For toning doing stuff that works your core is best.

Always make sure to try your best to stay within a healthy weight limit for your height though.

If I were you I'd start off doing some bodyweight exercises for 1-2 weeks doing sit-ups, push-ups, pull-ups, burpees, running, lots of other cardio etc, letting your body get used to some stress and then get back into jiu-jitsu. Jiu-jitsu is very good to get healthy and you could always do some strength training at the gym on the side.
