Dark's way of removing viruses/Notepad Secrets

This is just some stuff i learned over the years.

Virus Removal

If your computer has a trojan, worm, or just a random bad virus, use this technique to remove it.

Requirements:
Internet Access
Able to boot in safe mode

Step 1: Start your computer in safe mode.

Step 2: Download AVG Virus Protection

Step 3: Run the Command Line AVG prompt.

Step 4: Scan your entire computer

The virus should be gone. Pretty simple, right?

Notepad Scripting

Notepad is soooo fun to play with. Here are some secrets for it.

1. 4-3-3-5

Open notepad and type in a four word sentance with the first word having 4 letters, the next two words having 3 letters, and the last word with 5 letters. (eg. 4-3-3-5). I like using "this app can break". Save it and reopen it. It should read: "[][][][][][][][][]". When you try to copy and paste it (like i did just now when i was posting this thread) it appears like this: "桴獩愠灰挠湡戠敲歡" O.O

2. VBS Scripting

Notepad also acts as a VBS Scripter. You can script VBS in it. Example:

Type in:
do
MsgBox: "Wooo"
loop

and save it as "Demo.vbs"

Open it and it will loop a window that says "Wooo". To stop it just go to task manager, processes, and end process "wscript".

 

A very... odd guide.

The virus removal guide is very vague, does not always work, and does not cover any of the other options.

The notepad guide is just plain silly.

1. The Virus Removal technique is just what i use. Removed all of the viruses on my computer easy.

2. The notepad guide is supposed to be silly. Its just some stuff that happens in it.

3. "VBS Scripter" means that you can type in Visual Basic scripting language in it, save it as a .vbs file, and it will run.
