[DENIED] MapleStory 2 Section

Game is growing rapidly at the moment, already top 10 on Steam. Would be nice to see a market for it on Sythe for Meso, power leveling, boss runs, etc.

 

Personally myself, I haven't seen any announcements / sponsor'd adds or anything telling me to play it through Facebook, I also haven't heard of it coming through any other types of social media that I might have, or any pages I follow, etc. I took a brief look at the forums, and it doesn't seem like the game is super active from what I have found. It is a fresh game and if there is statistics and proof to show the advancement and popularity I wouldn't be against this suggestion, but for now I would have to say no.

 

Also, holy shit your research was anecdotal and irrelevant.



No support, there are other forums for MMORPG trading. If you add specific sections to each not only will they die in a week but we'll get spam about adding sections for each mmo.

This is just my opinion.
That picture doesn't mean much to me.
What is 1,500 viewers compared to 60,000 active players online?
Maybe MapleStory would have 2,300 viewers and 18,000 people online.
Just by the logic of the photos.

 

Rather not see another empty subsection when not much activity surrounding Maple Story 2 is happening in the rpg marketplace already on this site.
But if trading system is the same like 10years ago, when I played it. There would alot of demand for it. Can people still create those player owned stores to sell their unique for "gold"? Wondering. Fond memories.

 

Other MMO's section serves just fine.

 

That isn’t logical at all... obviously viewer count on Twitch correlates with amount of active players as well as many other factors. The only factor you’ve been presented and then discredited it on the basis of literally nothing. If you really think a newly introduced mmo with 1 mil downloads at the end of the first month is getting beat out in active player base by a 5 year old game you’re dreaming. if you’re interested I’m selling knot tying classes specializing in nooses please pm me if interested. Anyways my opinion on this is the same reason there isn’t a MapleStory section. There are already a huge number of forums and dedicated in MapleStory. Adding a section on a RuneScape focused forum won’t get any traffic and the section will die.

There's plenty of time to wait and see how the game itself unfolds into popularity to those amongst Sythe first - for example, No Man's Sky was a big fluke in the past. (I actually play MS2 but I don't see it being something Sythe having its own subsection for it.)

The Other MMO's section works fine here for now imo.

I agree I think this should be denied. Plus, isn't @Shin working on a rework of the categories anyway? This can be archived and Shin/sythe could take a look.
