    How to detect a scammer.

    Scamming is part of nature(unfortunately)

    1. The all important intro
    2. Trade types
    3. Overly nice
    4. Important info
    5. Goodnight :]

Hey, me again. I have another guide, except this one is very important. Granted it is a little short, this guide is important, and should read it for some tips anyway.

*THIS IS NOT A SURE-FIRE WAY TO DETECT A SCAMMER! THESE ARE HINTS AND TIPS THAT WILL **HELP** YOU WHEN DOING BUSINESS!*

    Types of trades
It doesn't really matter what kind of trade it is. Account swap, Steam accounts, PayPal, RSGP, there is usually a few things that are very easy to pick up on. There are also a few things that are harder to spot, but I'm here to tell you both.

    Creepily Nice
Ok, the first sign is they will most likely be VERY nice and agree with practically everything you say. Try to say something that may throw them off and gauge the reaction. They'll probably take a mintue to respond and ask some like 'What? Why?' or 'Huh? Sorry I was busy.' This is probably because they had to think for a moment and make something up. Keep an eye out.
Also, if you get a response that's either too good to be true, or exactly what you asked for but really fast, stay on your toes. They were probably browsing the forums, looking for something that was easy to scam or believable for their account. THIS INCLUDES UNOFFICIAL MIDDLEMEN! Leechers/Members who claim to be an MM but act suspiciously are probably out to scam you.

    Important info
Imporant info is the key to spotting a scammer. Once it gets down to this, you need to really get into the zone. If you go first, after you give the info, keep talking to them. Dont give them a chance to go and do something bad to the account. If they're idle for a long period of time, go and check the account or whatever it is. Make sure they haven't stolen it. Also, when you ask them something, watch out for the things we talked about earlier. Such as 'What?' 'Huh?' 'Sorry, I was afk, what'd you say?' This stalling will give them time to think up false info. If you start to feel uncomfortable, change all the account info, and politely tell them you've changed your mind.

*I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST MIDDLEMEN, I AM NOT TRYING TO OFFEND ANYBODY, I AM NOT CLAIMING ANYBODY ON THIS SITE IS A SCAMMER. I MEAN NO OFFENSE TO ANYBODY, AND THIS INFORMATION DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY MEAN SOMEONE IS A SCAMMER*

P.S. Sorry theres no pictures, I cant think of any for this thread. If I think of anything I'll come back and edit the post. Thank you.

So, until next time. Keep an eye out.

Sorry, but I disagree. I didn't find this guide helpful, and I hated the like the layout.

Most of this guide is common sense. Try to add some color, and pictures. Also, it is very short more information couldn't hurt. Its a good topic and you got some good facts in there, but you need to put more effort in your guides.
