China is an extremely big country, isn't it? xD

I will probably learn Mandarin once I become fluent in Japanese.

I know enough Spanish to have a conversation, but in the conversation I might have to say a word in English sometimes, still learning the language.

No, Taiwanese is completely different from Mandarin.

Taiwanese is very, very similar to Fukienese. The only thing that is different is the accent. The former is spoken by people in Taiwan, and the latter by people in the Fukien province, which is directly across from Taiwan on the mainland of China (thus the similarity).

Mandarin is a fun language. I only know two words: for "that one" (那个) and it sounds a lot like an English racial slur when pronounced by fluent people (I've been to Beijing before, and heard people saying it a LOT. It was, at the risk of sounding racist or ignorant, quite amusing. Sorry.)

You can obviously speak English unless you used a translator.

I'm going into Spanish 3 next year.

Hahahah it's all good, I know what you mean. My friend owns this shirt:

[That is "that one" written in traditional Chinese. The characters you have are simplified Chinese.]

Ah, thanks. I don't think Unicode supports traditional Chinese, then.

Oh and correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that Mandarin and Cantonese are just different dialects of the same written language?

I'll be the first to say, I do not like Asian people in general. I just don't, and I don't know why.

Though, I wouldn't mind learning another language like Spanish, so I know when them bastards are talking about me.

Yes you are correct. Same written words, different pronunciations.

@Steph: Taiwanese and Mandarin are pronounced the same way though are they not?

I also know how to speak japanese but I can't for the life of me spell correctly, as I was not there long enough to learn completely how to speak\write etc. and my computer does not support other languages that use "symbols"

I also know a little swedish and I know english of course.

If you don't like someone, you need a reason. You are also lumping all Asians together. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indian, Vietnamese, and so on are all different. You can't say they're the same.

China is also fast becoming a superpower, so from an economical point of view I suggest you look kindly towards them.

Windows has support for Japanese symbols, you just need to install the East-Asian Languages in "Regional and Language Settings." I'm assuming you use Windows, anyway.

PM me for more info if you want. I use the language bar + shortcuts to type Japanese. i.e. Alt+` switches between Roman alphanumeric and Hiragana/Katakana.

It is well worth at least recognising the meaning of the Kanji, that way you can read it, even if you aren't a fluent speaker.
