Different Languages

Well, I hope at least some of you are culturally diverse. I have also noted a trend of racism among today's society, which is completely unacceptable. Especially towards Asian cultures.

Still, how many of you speak a different language than English?

I speak 1 language other than English fluently. I don't hate other cultures I still respect them.

 

I know some Thai, some Japanese and some Indonesian.
I also know Pig Latin xD

 

I can speak German fluently, and since I watch huge amounts of anime, know hundreds or thousands of Japanese words, though I can only read it romanized.

Anyway, I want to learn other languages besides english (english sucks) but I have no way of learning it. Any suggestions?

Where you implying I used a translator? I did for the part of it - I knew that "hana" was to do with language, I just didn't know how to phrase it properly.

I learn it at school, so I'm not sure. I would probably start with going to a language tutoring session once every week. That way you are given homework to help memorise what you learned, and you're given somewhere to start.

I speak Mandarin somewhat fluently. I know a decent amount of Spanish from 7 years of it in middle and high school.

My parents speak English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Fukienese, and Taiwanese fluently

I speak English, French, and Cantonese fluently.

I know a little bit of Latin, Mandarin, and Japanese (but I can't read it).

I can swear in Korean.

 

I can only speak Spanish as of now considering I'm only starting 8th grade, I'm at year 3 spanish.
