Item Lending Glitch Thread

i know i got the miles niles and giles random while fishing lobbys in catherby

what if you got an item like a dds or any other members item and wen to a f2p world

 

Can you be a little more specific? That sounds like something pretty exciting, and I'd love to get a free Santa that way.

But I haven't been able to find out a way to glitch with this new update, but it is really annoying. So many noobs swarming my friends in GE asking to borrow Santas and Masks. But If you can tell me step by step how to do that glitch, I'd REALLY appreciate it.

 

Have you tried goin to your house and putting the lended item in your prize box, then wait for the time to be over and get it out? Just thought of it.

 

Good idea, We'll, we find a bug sooner or l8er, nothing is FoolProof.

 

It's foolproof enough.

I'd be shocked if Jagex isn't logging every lending transaction in which the leant item was valued at over X gold (i.e. 1 million).

By doing that, they can figure out what glitches are being abused and patch them. They can also find out who's actively looking for glitches and let them keep doing them (while logging their accounts) until all the glitches are fixed, then when the offenders have served Jagex's purpose by finding said glitches, the offenders get banned.

I think Jagex actually managed to make a glitch-less update.

 

there is no such thing as glitch-less.

There is always a glitch, and there will always be someone who finds it.

 

It'll take a very creative person to do it. I've tried a few ways myself to find a glitch and no luck so far.

 

and, sadly, there is allways some jerk that patches it (Jagex)

 

By the time we hear about the glitch, It be patched and it be all over youtube of guy abusing it >_<

Tbh, that's how all good glitches go out.

 

I know of acouple ways to dupe, the fight pits lure. Basically well im not gonna fill you totally in.. but someone dies outside the pit and it counts as a pk, therefore the person who killed can get the items, and all borrowed items are given back to the lender.

Also another dupe. This is just a hint.. but you have to find a way that you can drop the item until after the timer is up.

And another dupe..theres some where in rs where you can change the item's id.. and that removes the red dot. Once you do that your in the clear... But think where in rs can you do that.

Obviously didnt give all steps but be thinking about those, they work..

Ok, i pretty much am your basic leecher, since i am some what smart and cant really think for myself. However, think of this. Remember art money? or the cheat engines? If you remember, when you log out during a search of the item code, it changes, and you cant change the amount of the money. Therefore, thinking of this, if you manipulate the cheat engine by scanning for a real item and a borrowed item, you can MAYBE change the item code to the real items code by logging out and back in, then perform a glitch where the code stays the same and it no longer becomes borrowed. Just a thought here, I'v never tried it, as it's late at night and im tired. But, for all you braniacs out there, give it a shot and post back, would you? Well, There still a new quest to come out, maybe there be a bug in there. We just have to wait and see.

 

Umm this is confusing, and what is POH method? and is there a bug with lending items still?

 

This is just a rumour as Jagex are now cautious about updates they made.
