PC Game recommendations

I am getting back to grinding my RS main acc, with that comes lots of mindless skilling. I really want a game to play on the side of RS while I skill.
Hit me with some of your favorite PC games that I can play while Rsing.
I love all MMO’s (Elderscrolls / Witcher / Borderlands etc) so that’s my kind of game style, but I am open to all suggestions.

 

Have you tried Runescape 3, I heard it's good.

Definition, a really cool game. A++ work. Definitely not a dead game. Definitely will not go back to osrs hating rs3.

Some of my favorite games though they're probably the most popular ones and the chance someone haven't played them could be slim .
Crysis(1) a solid openworldish FPS from 2007 with stunning graphics, together with the tropical environment really just makes it almost more enjoyable to look at compared to any other games in my opinion. It offers you to decide what kind of play style you want weather it be stealthy or guns blazin.

The Half-Life series is probably in my top 3 games all time, something everyone who enjoys games should experience. Countless of hours were you journey through different kind of challenges be it alien enemies or environmental puzzles.

Metro 2033 is a pretty cool horror shooter post nuclear war. Where you venture through the abandoned metro tunnels cause the mutants roam the surface. Because there is radiation everywhere you have to keep using gas masks to explore but taking damage breaks it down so you have to keep scavenging for ammunition and new masks.

For the bottom of the barrels of my game list is some indie rougelike stuff that I always enjoyed, probably over 100 hours in each.
Don't Starve.
Classic survival game but pretty unique in it's art style and play style as well.
Binding of Isaac.
Kinda like your classic arcade shooter where you go from room to room fighting stuff while getting upgrades for your character.
FTL: Faster Than Light.
Space themed game where you micromanage an entire spaceship and it's crew.
Enter the Gungeon. Like Binding of Isaac but with guns but more fleshed out.

Personally, I adore playing Mass Effect series over and over again. Also, I'd recommend Bioshock series as well, it has a pretty unique atmosphere and gameplay aspects. Also, there are some great indie-games like Starbound. Stardew Valley is incredibly chill. Borderlands is quite enjoyable if you like the graphics and plot. Battletech is an interesting TBS.
I can talk about this for hours, there are so many great games out there

Do you play these while Rsing?

 

If you're talking about like afking skills while you play, my friends and i normally always play things like PUBG, Overwatch, League, Scum, and things of that nature while we RS in the background. I'm sure they're all games you've heard of but not sure if you've tried them out/like things like that If single player, i do occasionally play Doom, the new one. I love how gore-y it is and the metal music they play in it gets me hyped haha.

 

Awesome, thank you. Are you using two screens to accomplish this or are you able to play these games in resizable screen?

 

I just use one screen at the moment! But the majority of these games all have like a full screen windowed mode, so I can easily tab in and out while running rs in the background. I just make sure to keep my idle notifications turned on so I don’t forget to tab

 

Geometry dash is pretty fun

 

Rust is a fun game, better if you have a small little group though!

WARNING: Very addictive.
