Your first job?

Just got hired at McDonalds. Lol.

What was your first job? and how was it?

 

My first job was a job at a Civil War park as a cannon demonstrator. 10$ a day, hot and itchy wool clothes, MS heat... Fun.

So you got about 70$ each week, and how many hours did you work a day? That must have sucked but I guess money is money.

For me ice cream place, I get paid under the table about $8-$10 an hour depending on tips, I work about 30 hours a week, all my friends work there so I love working there.

 

I worked at Wendys..made 5.50 an hour since i was under 16

 

I'm 15 and I make 7.25 on my new job, thats minimum wage in Iowa. I'm quite happy, I guess it 5.25 in alot of states.

 

8 hours a day. 9-5.
And yeah, it DID suck. But it was only 5 days a week. (weekends were wensdays and thursdays...)

 

I worked for my dad for like 5$ an hour (He's a contractor and I cleaned up after the place)

 

sport arena place, 100 each

 

Heh, I worked at a bakery.. $8 bucks an hour and that was two years ago.

It was a pretty good job, except I worked REALLY long days and pretty much 7 days a week.

 

Paper round. Bloody horrible. I got blown over in the rain and wind with about 20 papers and then I just lost my temper and quit. I'd only done one 'round' too.

 

I worked as a sacker in a grocery store. Miserable work, it was, though not quite as horrible as when I worked in McDonald's.

 

I worked in a brothal 20 hours a day , 7 days a week, butt always hurt by the end of the day heh, good pay though

 

Cant get a job till november (my 16th birthday)
I cant wait to get a job though.

 

I got a job when I was 14 at a local pub, doing dishes and cleaning up after the place. Horrible job, got payed $8.00/Hour, as thats about minimum wage in Ontario.

 

My job was the best so far.

 

I'm pretty sure you didn't work in a whorehouse and I know dang well you didn't work for 20 hours a day.

I'm not sure if I'm old enough for a job, I don't know about the minimum working age in BC/Canada. But at home, I used to get paid around the house, like $5 for vacuuming one floor.
