I am christian as well and have a 50/50 believe in God, it is hard at times to let ur faith in before what other people think in the world...

Then why don't you pray that God rid the world of AIDS and cancer? Oh, but I guess God is too busy letting your favourite sports team win because that's totally more significant, right?

 

Yea, at my crappy church every week they tell how a bunch of people lived from cancer and stuff and they never mention the dying people in 3rd world countries :noworry:

 

Yes, I agree that God is not real, but to say that God is of little value is very wrong. Real or not, God plays a big role in today's world, and I don't think that will change any time soon.

 

You are wrong. "God" doesn't play any role in today's world. The people who are brainwashed and idiotic play the part. The idea of god has been forced into people's minds until the actual concept of the god plays no part, just the religious nuts.

I never used to. until one day i was on the streets and i was approached by missionarys. and they were talking to me for about a hour. and in that hour they convinced be that he is real.

You see, missionaries like to use fancy words that the majority (or a minority?) don't understand to make them sound sophisticated. How did they convince you? Is there any proof? These are the questions you need to ask before making such a crucial decision in life, otherwise you will continue to make uninformed decisions for the rest of your existance until you realise such - quite the blunder.
