Do-It-Yourself Skill Calculator (DIY Calc)

Ok this guide by me will show you how to calculate on how many more monsters/things you need to kill/make by yourself. I am going to substitute a few things with letters (Algebra).

1. Go to http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=xp_table.htm and find your wanted level's xp. This Number = a

2. Find your current xp for the skill you want to calculate. This Number = b

3. Get your wanted xp and take away your current xp from that. This Number = c

4. Now find out how much xp the monster or item gives you when you kill/make it. This Number = d

5. Divide c by d (c Divided By d) This Number = e

6. Round e to the next number up if it equals a decimal number.

a - b = c

c
- = e
d

e = Number of Monsters/Items to Kill/Make

Ok for example:

Skill: Strength
Current XP (Level 71): 816,045
Wanted XP (Level 73): 992,895
Monster Killing: Lesser Demon (316xp)

992,895 - 816,045 = 176,850

176,850 / 316 = 559.65 (560 Rounded Up)

Therefore: To Level To 73, I must kill 560 Lesser Demons.

You must be joking. www.tip.it has a calculator on how many to kill before you level. This thread is just a waste of space.

 

Actually I appreciate the first reply and respect your comment but you have no right to just go blow up my post because there are calculators. I have taken time out of my day to think and type this out so people who don't exactly get how to use the calculator or just want to know how they work could go to this thread, read and learn. I made this because a few friends were wondering how they worked and if the Zybez one worked at all. And one friend couldn't figure out how to function the Zybez Skill Calculator so I made this. Happy now?

And there are instructions for the one at tip.it, it's idiot proof. Yours however, is not, as some people may be terrible at mathematics, and fail to calculate properly.

 

Really there are instructions there? I'm sorry for not being idiot proof but if your a dumbass (Like Yourself) then that is too bad, go back to Kindergarten.

Amen, and ironblade87, why would you report someone for flaming when you insulted his work? That isn't the smartest you could do, you really just temped him to flame you back, so next time you report someone, think about why they might have flamed you okay?

It's not his work, any person with a decent mathematic skill (i.e. Grade 4) could be able to figure this out. I just stated my personal opinion about what is actually going on, as this thread truly is a waste of bandwidth.

And giraffe's "helpful calculator" can also be called "basic mathematics". Many different Runescape fan sites have this calculator, with more than necessary instructions at the bottom of the screen.

And no, I didn't curse.

 

Well seeings how this is basic math (or advanced qantity & portions)
i take it you did this simpaly to make a guide, on that note...

i give this guide a 1/5
add:
¤ color
¤ text size diferations (sp?)
¤ and make it more comfortable to read.

being smart, he is just substituting numbers because he cant be bothered giving an example of a number and writing it a few times.

only people with really slow computers who cant open 2 internets or tabs, should do this.
