everything taken

so as the title states, everything i was a part of via social media / online shopping/ and RS related accounts have all been hacked.

down the the emails and auths being changed.....

i contacted amazon because a pair of 150 dollar headphones were sent to me in my name
found out some one changed all my info with a dummy email, but put their real info on it and forgot to change the shipping details.

My I.G./ skype/ facebook/ amazon/ ebay/ 2 rs account (1.75b) all taken around 8/21/18-8/23/18

can a mod please look at this email for me and let me know if its associated with a sythe user?
The fraud depo at my bank and on amazon both told me to check all forums and pages im active on to see just in case.... i really dont think it was through sythe but im just covering my ass

Seems to be an Asian e-mail provider(?)

You most likely downloaded a virus somehow or used an infected computer, no way it origins from Sythe. What also could be the case is a database breach, that could origin from any website.

To check if your account details are in a data leak you could try: Have I Been Pwned: Check if your email has been compromised in a data breach
However, it of course is your responsibility and risk using this website. But as far as I know it is safe to use.

I found it was a used laptop I bought from amazon, well my wife bought it for me as a gift. She didn't know any better. Neither did I honestly, it came wrapped like new and I thought it was new. Also I only posted in sythe to see if the email address happened to be active here because at the time the only things I did on the new laptop was RS, sythe, and a little amazon shopping.

 

Check who she bought it from, maybe it was all planned.

 

Now I have a reason to not buy used electronics

 

It was just through amazon, so I have no idea who owned it before hand...


but ive gotten most of everything taken care of. This thread can be closed whenever a mod gets a chance, thankyou.

 

Buying used electronics isn't the issue, the issue is that he didn't replace the hard drive when he got it. Booting up a used computer and using the included hard drive is like plugging in a random USB drive you found on the ground in a parking lot.
