ps3 or xbox360

I seriously don't know which one to get. Especially after e3 since I saw great things from both. Most of my friends have the xbox, but the ps3 just wows me with things like MAG. Please post here which one and why. I would preferably like to hear from someone with experience with both.

i have both ps3 and xbox360, and i have to say, that comparing the picture on both consoles, the xbox gives a more clear and vivid picture, like on cod4. Everything just seems so more intense because of it.

 

Xbox 360, i have both plus the experience of xbox live owns.

I prefer the xbox 360 becuz cod4 but if u dont get cod4 get the ps3

 

I have a 360 and my cousin has ps3. i prefer xbox360 because it has better graphics and better games also compatible with xbox games. halo 3 gears of war fable 2.

my cuzin has had ps3 for bout 2 months and it is starting to freeze up on him.

 

Well, it depends if you are going to be playing online or not.

Online get Xbox
-Xbox live is better than Playstation Online or whatever they call it.

Offline get a PS3
-They really don't have anything to offer (well to me atleast) until the next year or so.

 

I had both, I sold my 80GB PS3 because it's crap, it cost me about £500. The graphics are on par or even worse then the 360, it has next to no good games (God of war 3 is probably the only thing looking good) + the PSN sucks.

+ The only reason it's expensive is because of the Bluray which no one uses.

 

I love it when people say 'OMFG BLU-RAY OMG PS3<ALL!!!@!!@11!2' And tell me I'm stupid for not wanting one even though I don't intend on seeing any movie in Blu-Ray or anything.

 

I would choose the 360. To be honest, I used to love Sony. I had a PS2 and I loved it. I got an Xbox for Christmas one year and didn't think too much of it. You know, I got the halo 2 with it and I HATED it. Then, some buddies told me about Xbox Live. Boy, did that ever change everything.

So basically if you are getting a 360, you HAVE to get live, or it just isn't worth it to me IMHO. I don't think I have been through any campaign's in the last 6 months.

 

That's the kind of people I hate. "Hey! I'ma buy this game and never know what thew fuck it's about! :[)"

I say Xbox 360 because it has many more big games, while PS3 only has MGS, CoD4, GTA4, and like 2 other ones. Xbox Live dominates the PS Network as well. Not to say that PS3 doesn't have it's perks. Slightly better graphics and a Blu-Ray player are big pros in my book. It is a tough descision, but i would have to say Xbox 360.
