Made this, easy but fun.

Hey, I got bored, so I decided to make a userbar in the GIMP. I think it turned out pretty cool.



I did not use a userbar maker, and if you want I'll show the tut about it.

 

It's nice, but the firefox icon isn't clean. There's white pixels around it.

It's people like you that make me not even want to come to this section.. Why even post somthing that takes 3 minutes come on is it that hard to make a signature atleast you would get some advice..

The firefox icon has white patches on the edges (Bad).

Sorry, I didn't realize that the little white pixels were there. But why does everyone think this is so bad and "doesn't belong here"? Has anyone ever actually tried to make a userbar without a userbar maker?

 

Yes and it's quite simple tbh, I used a CSS guy so don't give me that shit lol.

 

Well yes, if you know how to use basic photoshop or gimp functions it's easy, but when I first downloaded photoshop and thought about making userbar myself that was quite hard. I would be aggrieved with replys like that, and I think that's not polite of them, even if you're not a begginer. Some of the community members just disappointed me.

Userbars aren't creative, and overused. They don't look bad in signatures(the one where you can edit your forum signature, not the ones that you create), as long as you keep it to 1 or 2 bars.

I could make a box that is 100 px X 100 px, and do many things to it just to get it a certain style. It doesn't matter how long it takes to make a certain thing, in some cases.

A good example that you can set is looking up more tutorials, even if you don't like the style, so you can add to your knowledge. A few things that this forum needs is good-looking signatures, banners, web designs, and logos.

One more thing to let you think about it: Do you know why userbars are frowned upon(quote from shredder ^_^ )? Userbars can be made with a userbar maker.
Can that same person who made the userbar-maker make a signature maker? No.

 

Sorry bud, userbars are way over-whored and it doesn't take much to make them 0.0 good try nonetheless.
