A couple more sticks of 512MB sticks of RAM (if there are slots for them) would be good. Also switching to Windows XP would improve performance. The graphics card is poor, but I don't know anything about switching laptop graphics cards.

If you do not wish to downgrade to XP, switch everything to max performance, and put theme on classic, have a solid color background. Disable search indexing, and that will save you tons of RAM. Search google for programs that find unneeded junk files, and try and run defrag as much as possible. Try lowering your resolution by 1 or 2 settings if you can. That can boost proformance alot. Make sure you always run on High Perforcmance mode. You may be able to overclock, if it will let you, but that might cause overheating which could break your computer.

Well, I agree with everybody to downgrade to Windows XP. Then, you see a HUGE difference of speed. Anyway, you got stunning hardwares for a laptop mate.
