How do you deal with depression ?

I don't really get depressed but I do get bored and mad, i guess you could say at the world. When I do get these feelings I run, farther than my body should allow. I also try and lift 30 pounds more than I normally maxout at. This gets me tired and I guess you could say it cools me down.

 

If I'm really bored or extremely stressed, I just have a tearful breakdown, but I'm never depressed, as I'm a cheerful and vibrant person, and misery is never applicable to me.

 

listen to music, go out with my gf somewhere, go out and hit things with ma baseball bat or stab things with as knife, or play somesort of physical game, or pc game etc

 

well, i usually think about why im depressed, and then go back and think about what/who did to me to make me depressed, and then kill it.

Talk to people about what's getting at me if I can mostly. For the record, feeling down and "depressed" from time to time is normal, but it is NOT depression. Depression is a legitimate disorder. If you have depression, I suggest you see a therapist. I wouldn't take their SSRI bullshit, but that's just me. Still though, seeing a shrink can't be that bad and it couldn't hurt.

 

well i think writing, music, and art help me a lot. i usually do a lot of deep thinking as well and that clears everything up

Idk how my girl's still with me, I don't have a 6pac and I don't work out constantly. She looks amazing to every guy in our school, she could have anyone, but for some reason, she chose me.

I don't question that, but I'm glad shes there. I don't play runescape as much as I did before since I met her, and now I'm getting into golf and tennis down at our Country Club, and it's relaxing.

 

I go out and rape people when I'm depressed

 

i rock out on my guitar so very hard (yes i am serious) it usual helps in some profound way.I always play the electric guitar but whenever I'm depressed i rock out extra hard.

 

or i punch things so hard and damage/fracture my wrists/knuckles that is if i am extremely enraged.

 

when i get mad or depressed.. I take a nap and listen to music and then maybe going out to dance or play rs

 

I for one, generally like to cut my wrists vertically while sniffing fecal matter. Anyone else adopted this method?

 

I do too experience my outbursts of tears for sometimes reasons I don't know. It helps me deal with my feelings bottle up inside.

None of my friends have ever seen my cry in the 5-6 years I've know most of them. But I do it when I'm alone.

 

go to my favorite resteraunt with a couple friends and ride the bus around the city

 

I PLAY VIDEO GAMES LOL, unless its nothing big, then i just don't worry about it

 

get high

 

Do something that gets your adrenaline rushing..


(E.g. do some tarzan shit like I do lolz)

I just sleep, or read..

 

I usually watch some movies, hang out with my wonderful girlfriend she's always there for me. Then other times I'll play Call of Duty4 or any other killing game :/ when I'm pissed off or I wanna hurt someone. (Usually works)
