Guitar Riff I made recently

I have recently made a new guitar riff on the E minor Pentatonic Scale for a possible song for my band. In the beginning of the recording, I played some notes to act as a metronome, so you can ignore those. Also, I recorded both guitar parts for this riff, so it is actually two guitars playing at once. I would like it if everyone could give me feedback and hopefully give constructive criticism on what I could change or help in the riff. Thanks for your time.

you shouldn't just change the tunings and play one of the riffs from anata (exactly) and try to call it your own.

 

First of all, I don't know the band Anata and I've never heard of them. If I did make a riff exactly like theirs, it was coincidence. Could you please direct me to the riff/song I allegedly copied.

I don't have the name of the song (my music is ripped from my ipod so it has that letter catalog bs , but anyways the band is --- Anata, and the album is Dreams of death and dismay, An the riff is within the first 20-30 seconds of the song.

 

Was the song "God of Death?" If it was, I didn't copy that song, or any song. It may have a different style, but I still haven't heard exactly what you are talking about.

 

I can't recall, I will do some research sometime tonight, and find the song my music on my computer is a mess, and my Ipod is fucked atm (need to reformat) So I will have to re-download the whole album to find out. I would know the song But I havent listened to them in a very long time.

You know there are only so many riffs that can be produced. Almost every single one you hear now adays sounds just like another, it can not be helped.

I don't know about it. My band hasn't really tried that song, but I'll keep sticking it in their minds to try to create this song.
