New to Sythe and new to Runescape

Hey, all. I am very, very new to this world. Just wanted to start by saying hi but I was curious if someone could tell me if this account is worth anything. My brother handed it down to me but I don't know what to do with it. Thanks!

 

Hey Timmy welcome , I would recommend you to upload a picture of the stats also so people can try to give you an accurate price Cant really say how much is worth by just looking at the bank.

I'm afraid that account isn't worth very much, if anything :/

Nowadays, OSRS accounts are worth much more than RS3 accounts. OSRS is also what the majority of sythe users play, as we're the generation that enjoyed those graphics over 10 years ago now.

Hey, thanks man! I have been browsing around the site and learning quite a bit actually. I want to know more about the game so I'm looking forward to checking things out some more. Can I ask a stupid question? How do I know if I'm playing RS3 or OSRS? When I go to Runescape.com and sign in will I be able to play either game or is there a separate install for the other game? Thanks by the way

 

They have different interfaces/loading screens/icons, you'll be able to tell. You can download OSRS here: Old School RuneScape - Download Old School RS and check it out. Your RS details are the same(use the same login user and pw from RS3), although it'll be a fresh account (stats/items do not transfer over from RS3).
