Do apologies work as appeals?

I got a last chance appeal for my permanent mute, but I'm not sure what I should do. The las time I appealed it it was an apology and didn't work, anyone got an idea? I also heard that if you put the word 'suicide' in there it's a for sure unban or unmute, not sure if it's true though.

Also, does going on a different IP address and saying you were not in control of the account work? Thanks for your help.

 

Definitely do it from a computer that's not in your ip range. Most appeal replies go on the fact that you weren't in control at the time, so that may make them more likely to accept. I hear "membership" works, as well, along with a 300+ word appeal, so try a combination.

 

A computer not in your ip range means just go to a library or a friends house to do it? Id put a combo in also

 

if your going to apologise on your appeal say u didnt read rules and that you made this account a long time ago and u were a loyal player and you will reread all the rules and that they should not unban a loyal player like that or something, but dont try it yet, other people might have better ideas. im just trying to help.

 

Nah, loyal player and stuff doesn't work. They don't read the appeals, they just have an automatic system. And yeah, ip range means go to a friends or a library.

 

i think apoligeies might work cause i got a 30 day mute and i apoligiesed and it got lifted

 

My apology from an earlier appeal didn't work, but should I apologize at a different IP address or go to a different IP address and say I was not in control of the account?

 

saying you were not in control of the account gets it locked but if you can get it unlocked there is a 100% chance youll get the account back

 

How would I unlock it? Is it easy?

 

Apologies are useless.. They are always "Apology made" but amount to no help and the black mark stays. Your best bet is the I didn't do it thing.. Evne if it does lock your account.

I realise the offence I committed was wrong, and I would like to apologise for this. However, I have played RuneScape for over a year now and have paid membership for most of this time as well. I would like to humbly request for my account to be unbanned and the black marks to be lifted, and I can assure you that I will not break the rules again. RuneScape has helped me enormously in the past year, as I have gained support from in-game friends that has helped me through some tough times, especially when I was considering suicide. Thankyou for taking the time to review this appeal.

after my experience, apologies does not work as normal appeals, but last chance appeals they do work.

 

Yeah, mine is a last chance and the reason they made the last chance appeal is so that they can unban most of the players in the game to make more money, so I think last chance always has a high chance of working.

 

If you broke rule 7, then forget about your acc. You will get it back after a year.

 

First time I broke that rule I got permanetly muted, and I did the apologies mode and didn't work. Try anyway.

 

I bought an account, though as soon as I bought the guy logged. I thought he was going to recover but then I realised the account was Perminately Muted. My friend told me something after. Is there a thing called something like, "Third and Final Chance". Something like that, anyway. Apparently he was perm muted for like 6 Month's then he got that appeal and now he's un-muted. Is that your problem. I'm still waiting for that appeal to come, if it ever does.
