Item Lending Glitch Thread

Remember guys, just keep it simple. I'm pretty sure that we can find a bug in there.. I'm going to create a new thread for finding bugs

Omega sorry but that is for you to figure out. Yes, it requires an item, but you also need something to use in your house. No more hints. Thats where i stop.

 

Bleh. I've tried nearly everything from treasure chest (putting tt item in) to armour stand. Just this one question. Is there a specific lvl? You don't have to say the lvl, but is it a high one? (65+ is high)

 

You can say so, that its a specific lvl etc.

 

Most glitches got fixed tho i heard of 1 where you can sell a santa in ge tho not sure if it was true or not.

 

Would borrowing some barrows armour and degrading it to something like 90% work because if the barrows armour is anywhere between 100 and 0 it is untradeable, right? and you are not allowed to lend untradeable items out.

can someone try this ASAP ( incase JaGeX patch it... ) and let me know the results, i can't try because i don't have 70 defense...

You can't lend barrows items.

 

yea and its because of that reason u cant lend them. dang, if i had a good con level id try the POH thing out sadly im level 1 con. i think it has sometihng to do with sometihng you actually build in your house but im not shure.

 

what item glitch are u guys talkin about?

 

what about say you trade another player a santa then quickly lend back?in milisecond form. could that dupe? or if u trade and lend back and forth so the server gets confused? just an idea

 

i found out how to stop items going back to the other player. Or at least for a little while. I was almost able to keep the item.

 

i tried about logging in from 2 computers and lending it, then disconnecting the internet as i was demanding it back, but it didnt work... I think the only way to do it would be to modify the item, or go into a place where youre not allowed to have weapons or armor (possibly lost city quest?) then wait until the time runs out...if it doesnt work well then u have a way to use a wep in lost city. I'll get on and try that right now and let everyone know.

Umm I have an idea. What if you had two accounts, and gave your other accounts your GS. You then somehow got your account locked/banned. Locking your account isn't that hard just have a bunch of people log on and recover it back.

Then just send in the appeal to get the account to get unlocked and unbanned and if it gets accepted maybe the item will be duped.

I just thought about this when reading the thread, it would be hard to ban but I think locking and unlocking your account is pretty simple.

Someone try this and tell me if it works, because I just made it up off the top of my head.

 

I was informed by an anonymous person that as of 3 hours ago there IS a working dupe, but he wouldn't tell me anything about it.
