Step1:​

Create a free eBay seller's account. Once you are registered, you can access all of your eBay buying and selling activities in a section called "My eBay."

Step2:​

List your item by clicking "Sell" at the top of the home page. Click Online Auction. Choose a category where you want your item to appear.

Step3:​

Describe your item's features, benefits and condition. Include any signature markings or background history that may make the item more interesting to a seller. Set a starting price and decide if you want buyers to have the Buy It Now option.

Step4:​

Select a time period for your auction. The standard choice is seven days and your auction will begin as soon as you submit your listing.

Step5:​

Upload at least one photo of the item you are selling. The first picture is free. People like to see what they're buying.
Step6Set payment options and shipping and handling charges.
Step7Review everything in your listing, then submit it. Check your listing often. You will be notified at the end of the auction if someone has bid on your item and will receive emails if anyone has a question about your item before they bid on it.

Tips & Warnings

The best time to start an auction is on weekends, between 8 p.m. and midnight Eastern Standard Time.

Use keywords in your item description. A potential buyer might use your keyword in search for the item he or she wants to buy.

Send invoices to the winning bidders right away.

Respond to all bidders' questions promptly.

Send merchandise only after you receive payment and, if applicable, the check has cleared. PayPal is the preferred method as you will be notified immediately of a cleared payment. You can even pay for your postage through PayPal.

EBay offers free online tutorials in buying and selling at eBay University.

You can get a bad review from a customer, so make sure to be honest about the condition of the items you are selling and be quick to ship out the item once payment is received.

Meh, pretty standard stuff. You should include how to make a seller's account, as you have to verify your credit cards, ect.
