Item Lending Glitch Thread

lol to bad its patched any btw the reason u dont reapir is cuz id rather not sit there for 60 minutes repairing a grave lol... nd ic ant believe i actually found it out but i got pathced..

 

Does anyone know if the random event with the brothers will do anything?

They note all the items in your inventory, so if you have the lent item in your inventory, then they should come. Just ignore them and they might note the item

Problem is, it's random, so you can't time it very well :\

idk that random, i get alot of them and never seen it before.

 

It's the Miles, Niles, and Giles one. The three brothers who have you select the item that is rotating around in the picture, Like it'll show you a helmet and then ask:

A)Fish
B)Helmet
C)Platebody

You choose B and they give you an item. If you ignore them, then they note everything in your inventory. So, if you had a lent party hat in your inventory, I was planning they'd note it. Since, you can't note lent items, this will force it to be noted.

 

lol.. worked for me yesterday i got 8 free agses and 2 free bgs.. and like 12 darkbow lol.. idk if it still works..

 

Has anybody tried lending a members item to another member with little credit left, then the member with the members item runs out of membership?

Yeah. I was trying to do stuff to get it to appear. I was planning on staying in the G.E and getting it to follow me and quickly get someone to lend me something

 

i tried the godsword trade and you could never actually dismantle it.. all lies sorry. i think jagex have been through it all tbh but hopefully not..imagine being able to rwt with this!

 

Hmmm... so now if you die with the item it goes back to the owners inven? Oh btw another idea. Loan some rune armor and paint it at a stand. You may not be able to sell it but hey, free painted armor xP. Also maybe if you loan some barrows and get the durability to 0 then you could keep it if not you could try repairing it. I'm just brainstorming here xD.

 

What do you need to be doing to get this random? Since different things get you different randoms. Ive gotten it a lot, but Im never paying attention. And if you got all that, then you appearently know how to get the random a lot.

 

I noticed that too. I tried remembering when I got it and the only time I remember getting it is when I was going for 99 cooking. So, you'd have to borrow and item for 24 hours and start cooking.

 

this could work, since the same item noted and unnoted is different item ID.

Heres a hint for you newbies: POH is all you need.

POH bug abusing is hard, but its easy at the same time, if you figure it out. Good-Luck
