    Ontological proof of God

I thought this was gonna be a cool thread, then I saw this, and I laughed, then I was angry. Why the hell do you act so stupid as to put this? Yeah, god talked to the guy who spends his life on a forum playing Runescape, out of all the other religious fanatics who say they have NOT yet spoken to god.

Yes, god is imaginary, and things that are imaginary do not exist in reality.

    Ontological proof of God

I believe in God, and your thread is reason why I don't defend/backup my choice. You can believe in something, but you don't have to push it. That is why people (like Shredderbeam) argue with you. It also becomes a stalemate. No one can prove/disprove God exists. I believe. I just don't push.

    Ontological proof of God

Manipulating and twisting the words of a definition is not cool. You wrote that from your head; your imagination. If God is so great that you can't imagine it, 2 and 3 are already false.

Side: Well since you say "God must exist in reality", tell me when he speaks to you in real life.

I will not make a response for every fool who does not understand the logic of St. Anselm's (peace be upon him) Ontological Proof of God.

The logic is not difficult. It is as follows:

God is the most perfect possible being possible. The most perfect possible being must exist inside the imagination and in reality. If the most perfect possible being only exists in imagination, then it is not the most perfect, and a contradiction is here.

    1. Why were you crying?

    2. Which god was it? There are many, if any at all.

3.If God has spoken to you in your dreams, would that not make him a fictional character, keeping in mind that; the human brain creates its images and thoughts. If this is true, why wouldn't that "God" You speak of be just a thought conjured by your mind to create your own meaning of life?

Your logic is: "I believe in this delusion so it must be true, fuck off."

Regardless of whichever God you may believe exists, imagining a god is...unimaginable. Since he is the most perfect being, we would not be able to imagine such a perfect being or else we could all be perfect.

You are either a fairly decent troll or very, very, blind.

Tell us of some of the 'glories'.

You honestly made my day with this.

I really don't think I can contribute to the arguement in this thread as their is none to be has with the blinded maker of this thread.

    Ignorance is bliss I suppose.

I don't think any of those who posted in this thread really understand the Ontological argument, except for Mohammed himself. :/

Hold on, you say he will not interfere in the world, but isn't His communication with you interference? Isn't His speaking to you and showing you "glory" considered interference?

God exists but not because of your silly proof.

    This sentence contradicts itself.

This isn't evidence, more or less just a play on words.

    God says i am faith.

person asks what is the proof that you exist.

god says there is no proof because proof denies faith and without faith i am nothing.

(ha so theres no proof just faith!)
