    Wonderful Artists..

This thread can work however you want it to. If you wanna make a comment on an artist, do it. If you wanna see these as recommendations, then do so. I've included the genres along with the artist name just to give you an idea of what kind of music they make.

So far I've only found Jansen and Shin that have similar tastes in music to me. C'mon Sythe, make me proud.

So, here's a few of my favourite artists.

    1. Nine Inch Nails | Industrial/Rock/Pop/Electronic
    [IMG]

    2. The Faint | Indie-Rock/Dance-Punk
    [IMG]

    3. Dropkick Murphys | Irish Punk
    [IMG]

    4. Queens of the Stone Age | Alternative/Stoner Rock
    [IMG]

    5. Social Distortion | Punk Rock
    [IMG]

    6. Tool | Progressive Metal
    [IMG]

    7. Saul Williams | Hip-Hop/Spoken Word Poetry
    [IMG]

    8. The Smiths | Indie/Rock
    [IMG]

    9. Hinder | Rock
    [IMG]

    10. Depeche Mode | Electronic

    Wonderful Artists..

I'm in to a lot of Metal, but also a lot of Japanese Rock and Pop.

Some of my favourite music actually comes from the Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekisou concert and the character music CDs from the anime: "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya."

(note that the family name is said first, in Japanese. i.e. in English, Chihara Minami is said Minami Chihara)
Yuki, Muon, Madobe Nite, (note I'm not sure, but I think this means Snow, Slience by the Window) sung by Chihara Minami

COOL EDITION sung by Kuwatani Natsuka

And of course, Hare Hare Yukai ("Sunny Sunny Hapiness" ?) sung by Hirano Aya, Chihara Minami, and Yuko Gotou. Edit: In case you're wondering what happens at the end, the crowd requests an encore.

In case you're wondering, their performance in the dance is a little clumsy, but wouldn't you be scared performing in front of 8000+ occult Haruhi Suzumiya fans?

Hurt by Nine Inch Nails was iconic, but there isn't much else I like by them. The Smiths are awesome, Santana is too, and Nina Simone. I think the rest are crap though :p

    I pick...

    1) Jimi Hendrix Experience

    2) Radiohead

    3) The Pixies

    4) The Velvet Underground

    5) Nobuo Uematsu (for awesome game music)
