Any Cisco and/or Credible Cert Holders Here?

Finishing up a couple dull classes for uni and I'm about to be taking a couple months off - I Was thinking about jumping into a cert or two and was curious as to which has been the most beneficial?

Some tell me CompTIA, others say don't worry with CTIA certs and to invest the time into Cisco.

 

Cisco wise: if you know cisco you will be able to walk thru any other networking system with a breeze, cisco is the hart and brain of all networking system and it's the main thing to get around these subjects.

Particular Cisco cert you're curious about? I've gone through both CCNA and CCNP Security - although that was quite a few years ago.

Depending on what you're looking for, the courses and material are rather basic.....some of the books were paperweights more than anything.
