Starting a "Lending Item Business" !

Hello I am not starting a lending business right at the moment, I might be after the bugs and tweaks are worked out like in 2 weeks or so. I just like to get your suggestions and thoughts about this.

I have over 34M in pure cash, not including berserker ring, fury, zamorak cloak, etc... I am willing to lend the item of the requested buyer up to 34M for 24 hours, for a little amount of money (paypal), the price will count on the item price, and how it is doing in the grand exchange (rising or dropping).

Also I will only lend 1 item to each person, no more than 1 item, I may not lend treasure trail items, (items that are worth a lot but with a low alch value, ex. ranger boots, robin hood hat).

I am open to suggestions from you guys to help make my maybe future small time business better, and if this would do great or not, please do not flame, and nothing like that, if you want respect you have to give respect back.

 

Sounds like a good business idea but how much would the little amount be?

 

Well it really depends on the cost of the item, and the amount it is dropping/rising each day, say if today was already 2/3 weeks and bandos godsword is dropping, and 1 customer wanted a bandos godsword, and it drops like 500k a day, and say bandos godsword is about 20M by then, and he wants it for 24 hours, I would say about like, $4.50 or so, I am thinking up of a fixed cost, like the amount of 1mil rsgp, and then seeing the grand exchange website graphs so if it drops 500k yestderday, tomorow it would probably drop around 400k - 700k, so about like say $3.00 for the cost of the dropping, and like $1.50 to $3.00 for the lend? I am really not quite sure yet.

OMG!! BUT I CAN STILL DO ONE AT A TIME! Wait so say if I lend for 24 hours, and I log out later in 5 hours will he still have item for the rest of the time?

you need more money... i have like 200m (80m in oak planks for 99 con) and i probly dont have enough for a business like that

 

this actually seems like a pretty good idea because a lot of people would wanna test out like a godsword before they buy and would be willing to pay a small fee before spend like 20-100m on it

 

yea, it is a good idea... im just suggesting to him that he may need more money. but good luck with him. P.S. Dont buy an ags unless you have high str lvl... im only lvl 89 str and barely hit anything
