Torrents

Who here likes to torrent, and who here doesn't like to torrent?​

 

i dont get torrents much...
at times i get 900kbs

and at times i get 17kbs regardless of how many peers.
but yeh - torrents are good for games and applications ^_^

 

Most of the time I use torrents to get old television shows I've never seen such as B5, Farscape, etc. Occasionally I'll get an application I need such as a converter or Sony Vegas Pro 8.0 (which I got yesterday).​

Torrents are fantastic, I use them frequently for abandonware and some TV, film and music. I'm careful about what I download though, as I'm not too keen about getting tagged by the copyright Nazis.

 

Gotta love them. peerguardian 2 is awesome too.

I <3 torrents. Sometimes i get a slower download time but its way better then any other ways i found.

fuck limewire

 

Soulseek is much better anyway. It makes Limewire in comparison look worthless.​

torrents are amazing for downloading big games, or music albums, but the download rates suck most of the time

 

I prefer to order the stuff, but when I don't have enough money, sure I'll use torrents.

Full Album Music
Movies
Games
Tv Shows

but I'm looking for a better way as torrents are getting old and Cox Communications has caught me twice with Peer Guardian on.

No, but when your parents didn't graduate from high school. Money is tight, so I am forced to download my music otherwise my iPod would be useless.

 

of course, torrents are good for fast downloads for big files...discographys,games,etc

 

I hope the majority of you realise that by not buying the things you want, you aren't supporting the people who make them, thus they get less profit and less incentive to keep making it.
