WHAT? an obby mauler is a type of pure with 1 - 20 attack 60 strength and up and 1 defence
WHY? becuase you can hit very high at a low level if you stay perfect and have 1 attack and 1 defence with 60 strength you will be level 32! being able to hit a max of 17! or if you have a zerker necklas and super strength potion and 31 prayer which will make you about level 36 with a whopping max hit of 21! at level 36! another great thing is that you can have 99 strength and still be in the low crater of bounty hunter and hit of 46! at level 55 amazing right?

Range/mauler
These kinds of maulers are very good at bh they use darts or knifes to lower thier enemys hitpoints to 1/3 then pull out a maul to k0.

obby tank
Kind of defeats the purpose of an obby mauler becuase you can not enter the low level crater with this kind of mauler this mauler is only good for staking

1 attack mauler
This is the kind of mauler i have 1 attack 67 strength and 1 defence so far. these are the only kind of maulers that can get 99 str and go in the low crater if you get up attack you will be over level 55

5 attack obby mauler
Ive never had one but i heard its worth it to risk 1 combat level.

10 attack obby mauler
Ive had one like this do not get 10 attack trust me you hit the same as having 5 attack but you give up 2 combat levels i would not recommend this

20 attack obby mauler
I have had one like this also i would recommend this if you dont care about having 5 more combat levels you hit very often with this and is great for lazy people lol.

slayer staff mauler
one of my favorite they use a slayer staff that has a plus 35 strength bonus against thier opponent and when the opponent has 1/3 hp they pull out the maul for a k0. you need 55 slayer for the slayer staff and no attack levels are required

2. Training

1- 28 strength men in the edgeville house you kill them fast and u bank thier bones for good money

28- 30 monks they hit kind of hard so id recommend food or go to the nearbie monk who heals you for free

30-35 barbarians/minotaurs barbarians dont hit that hard but id bring trout and minotaurs are very weak and fast xp.

You should be a member bye 35 str so buy a red topaz machete or iron schimitar to train with or bone dagger poisoned ++ these are all great training weapons

35- 60 rock crabs this is very very broing trust me but dont waste time and ask other maulers how they got thier maul your just stauling. rock crabs are great to get 60 str on but if your under 40 str id bring lobs or trout.

60 - 99 ok the biggest hardest thing in runescape to do
id do pest control but for every 200 points spent on str spend 100 on hp to even it out you could also kill rock crabs until 99 or duel arena (not recommended)

MONEY MAKING!

do the saftey stronghold and the security stronghold you should have 20k now buy full iron and a redtopaz machete thats what the best weapon to train with at 1 att beside slay staff or if you have 5 -10 - 20 att then use the best schimitar available id also recommend a poisend bone dagger with 1 att to train

pick flax and turn them into bs for the crafting xp and a lot more money do this until you have 250k for an obby maul congratz! now id fish until 48 fishing then get 15 agility for barbarian skills because wen u fish like that you get str xp thats wut my firned did lvl 27 with obby maul lol then sell the lobs or whatever you are fishing until you have 750k or you could woodcut or continue to pick flax or buy 1k of oak logs then turn them into planks and sell the planks for a 250 gp profit thats 50k per 1k planks made great money.
with the 750k buy a zerker necklas then your ready to train!

BOUNTY HUNTER

inventory:
1 super attack pot
1 super str pot
obby maul
25 lobs

what to wear
chaps for your range lvl
spiky vamps for your range lvl
str ammy
leather body
iron full helm
mage bow or darts
rune arrows or rune darts

range method: use darts or mage bow until opponent has 1/3 hp then click the obby maul right when ur bow or darts lift and youll hit with the maul this should k0 your opponent

simple mauling: wear full iron str ammy and obby maul just attack someone this is ONLY recommend if you have over 85 str!

Hmm, 7/10. Quite detailed guide but needs colouring as it will organize the sections. Also, some pictures added will be great.

Good guide, but have to say..obby maulers...are the worst to train haha its like....0...0...0....19...0...3...0...0....0....0....0...29....constant zero hits lol unless of course ya take a super attk pot and ya then it would be a rocked out pwnage *(dont ask)*

From reading the first part of 1 attack mauler, u FAIL! Obby maulers don't pk f2p. Its p2p! Not 55cb low crater, 67, geez get ur facts right b4 making a guide

you should add something about the berserker necklace, it adds 20% to your damage whenusing an obby weapon

 

From the look of this guide, it seems like you don't know much about obby maulers. P2P BH goes up to 67 cb and you can be a maxed, 99 hp, 99 str, 20 attack, 31 prayer obby mauler and still be in low crater. Which is why I think any maulers that have under 20 attack are pointless.
