Do you think time-travel is theoretically possible?

Hey mates! How do you think, is it possible to time travel in theory?

 

i wouldn't say that i say it isn't possible/going to be possible but as far as i am aware time is just a unit for measuring objects moving in space so all that ever exists is the now and when u start to ponder that thought u will realize that thought is in the past .

 

What kind of time travel are we talking here? Like picking a certain time in history and then going to it? That's completely fictional and will never happen lol.

 

I'm talking about going back and forth in time. Let's say you jumped like 20 years ago and changed something. That change you made forced other events different from what you've experienced in your original timeline to occur. This way, after returning "back" to the future, you would face the consequences of your actions in the past. Basically, the butterfly effect would take place. However, it is important to mention that the timeline you would have "returned" to will differ from the "original" one. It should be possible according to some theories.

 

Like a time machine? Nah, I don’t think so lol.

 

I do believe it is possible but not to go back. I believe we have always existed and only exist in this form now. The ingredients which made each of us were put into motion billions of years ago and we have transfered through dna from individual to individual until we existed at this precise moment .

 

We all have this small hope we can in the future but logically i don't think so know. Not in our lifetime anyhow.

As all my knowledge permits me, I do believe that time travelling is possible but not in this time. The humanity has not reach the desired level of... evolution or smth like that. But in the near (i hope) future there will be a prototypes of it.

Ahahah, i dont know is that truth or not, but there is something to think about

 

Time travel is the realm of VERY theoretical/borderline sci-fi physics. I doubt that anybody here can offer anything meaningful, at all.

 

Time is relative to a person, i.e two people traveling through spacetime have different times.


the faster towards the speed of light you move the slower your own clock goes.


tldr, You can but only into the future, you cant go back.

I always think, how was Earth made?
It's insane how planets are even a thing?
Of course a certain degree to time travel could happen in the future
Or even the past, and we can go back to it.
Could that work?

 

Is it possible? Yes, but only in one direction and not in the past
Can we do it? Obviously no

 

Since time and space bends, it would be possible if we could travel through a worm hole. Though traveling back in time would cause paradoxes. We can't know for sure if it would be possible any way. Our minds are so limited.

 

If it was possible do you think we would see visits from people from the future?

 

It’s not possible because time cannot be disrupted. If it were, we would be witness to it by now.
