RS3 Bot ban rate HELP

Hello guys, as it is DXP weekend, i decided to BOT 120 herb using a ghost mouse recorder on my main, (I was 17m xp off). Pretty dumb, yeah i know, but i'm lazy when it comes to boring shit like that. So here's what happened. I went to go take a shower and I come downstairs and my guy went totally off somehow. He was walking back and fourth, not sure how long. I read previous chat and it's a bunch of people saying things like "what's that comp guy doing?" "probably boting report him" etc. I'm sure i got reported by like atleast 10 people, prob more. My account is comped and has over 2b total xp. What are the chances of me getting banned since i've obv played for such a long time and it isn't some gold farm type of boting, it's just xp and was only this once. Or is it the same as every other bot and an ansta ban? And aprox time for me to get my temp/perm ban. Thanks

 

Uhm, I had a friend who was banned for divination. Was suicide-botting tho. He was comp-cape, etc with a green phat. This was 2014 keep in mind or whenever divination first came out.

Banned from divination? I've done 1-85 for about 12 hours a day 7 days a week, finally quited at 85 cuz even botting it got too boring

Been like 20 hours... still no ban... haha keeping my fingers crossed that they can't find proof or something, not sure how long it usually takes after a report.

48 hours have passed... still playing on it... maybe there was no proof? since i came and checked it every 30 minutes to an hour... and the entire botting was around 5 hours... not sure but hopefully nothing happens

 

I don't know why but I've always had the image of you getting instantly banned in RS3 ever since the botnuke. I would love to see some images too, pretty cool stuff.

 

Account still not banned, maybe they all were all talk and no one actually reported me? weird.

 

@FearTheVenom I'd love to see a more structured thread with progress being updated on your RS3 botting with maybe even pictures. Seems like you're doing pretty well on not getting the hammer.

 

What do you mean by pictures? and yeah... still no sign of any ban of any sort and we're pushing the 1 week mark

 

You know just progress images, not have to disclose all stats but could be fun seeing different stuff getting higher from botting alone.

 

Oh i'm not botting anymore, not even focusing on xp atm, just messing around with gp and stuff like that, last skill up was 120 herblore and that was when i botted it a week ago

Even if they did report you, it's unlikely an account of your stature would be banned that easily without having definitive proof. They would need to monitor the account after the reports and if you haven't continued botting since, it's unlikely they would pull the trigger on you.
