Place's to get Dry Ice
Many different store's use Dry Ice for cooling consumable goods. Some places would include: Hardware Store's, Ice Cream shop's, Ice Store's in general, Grocery Store's and believe it or not I've seen Dry Ice being sold in a Variety Store.

Procedure

Step one:
Get your beverage holder, and pour your drink in

Step two:
Insert 4 little finger sized pieces of Dry Ice into the drink

Step three:
Leave everything alone until all the Fog stop's coming out

Step four:
And their you have it! Your beverage is now way below freezing point, and is not ice

*Caution*
If you want to drink this, then do it slowly, and VERY carefully.

 

If you dont have dry ice you can substitute it with regular ice and salt

 

Well, with much milder effect's obv. But yes, that works too.

Alchol does not freeze. DO NOT DRINK IT QUICKLY! It can freeze your insides...

Wait, can you subsitute dry ice with salt + ice? If yes, tell me does the drink change taste then? I really need to get soem massive, immenese sensation of slurpee madness! Please answer this question.

 

Have you actually checked the temperature of the drink. From what I've head it doesn't reach - 65 below.

Also this guide is really basic.

 

Im not sure what the temperature get's to, but I took a sip of my drink and my tounge turned white . So im assuming that it is infact very cold. Next time I get some more Dry Ice, I will measure it though.

Take a bowl, fill with cold water, ice, and some salt, put canned drink, stir, wait a bit, frozen

 

Yeah lol, it's the same as if you stuck your tounge during the winter time on a metal pole. Give it a few day's and your tounge is perfectly fine.

Thank's, but dont worry about that you would need to hold the Dry Ice for like a minute before something actually happened to your hand's.

Have not yet tried that =], but may work.

 

We don't have dry ice in the ice cream place.

 

Seriously? I went to a few of them, and almost everyone uses Dry Ice to cool their icecream. Some use machine's now, but what did you ask? If you just randomly ask for it, they will certainly not give it to you. Explain your need for it, be nice to them. <--- Your need as in your using it for a Scientific Experiment for a school Project.

 

Naw I work there we just don't have it. I'm not to sure why you would need dry ice in for ice cream we just have freezers. But then our ice cream place isn't a chain like carvel or DQ.
