Carrie Underwood can suck it, I believe in God, he does answer prayers. Whenever (for me) I pray to God, for help/guidance, he will give me a answer, may not be vocal, but the sign will be what is happening in front of me. For most of you, may look at this and say WTF, I',m I talking about. But most people may know what I'm talking about.

 

No I too have had my prayers answered and I totally understood how He answered them but there are times when He just doesn't you cannot seriously say that you have had an answer for every prayer you've had unless you've only prayed once and that was for you to not trip on your next step and you didn't.

 

Again with delusions. If we all prayed together tonight that cancer would be no more/cured/etc when we awakened, cancer would still exist with no cure in the morning.

 

Yes, I understand. God may not answer all of our prayers. But he answers most of them.

 

If he did stop every evil thing from happening then there would be no evil therefore the word wouldn't even exist. What your saying is that the only evidence that would support God being real is if the world was a perfect utopian society. In which case in a perfect world Gods existences wouldn't be necessary.

 

In my opinion, prayers are always answered, but sometimes the answer is, exactly, no answer. I know it doesn't make sense... But like what tgump said, cancer is a struggle of life. In life everyone has their own struggle, whether it be cancer, disbelief of God, or just small struggles throughout life that you have to get over. Is God inflicting pain on us? Being mean? No, in fact I think it's a gift. Yes, a gift. The gift of conquering these pains and getting over them. Think about the feeling after studying for a test and once you get through it and get a good grade on it, it feels great. If you have cancer all your life, and have lived through that pain, surely you are granted a place in heaven. If you murder someone, but repent and make up for it, you will go to heaven. If you are atheist all your life but have been a good person, if you accept God when you die you will go to heaven.

These are just my opinions and I don't know if my examples are any good.

I personally do not believe in god. I am not trying to convince others to shed themselves fro mtehir religion, im only trying to make others understand where i stand.
