A deposit is by definition refundable in regards to Sythe employment, and because you have it stated on your hiring thread that you require a deposit when hiring employees, you will be held to that. If you wish your employees to pay you a non-refundable sum of money in order to get jobs, you need to make that very clear that it is a payment/fee on your hiring thread.

@RuneMob you are to refund @nostalgla the entirety of his deposit.

 

It's just happened to me before that a worker gets fired and right after firing they scam my clients' accounts completely clean. And of course I'm liable to refund everything so I implemented an entrance fee of 50-100M OSRS (or more) depending on the trust level. If you have sufficient amount of vouches, then there's none. That would be permanently kept by me IF there are any issues post-firing. Here's the part of the chat log here, I'm not trying to keep the money without a reason. I, letter by letter, told the then potential worker that those are the rules and he agreed now He's making me sound like I'm a "scammer". If the mods wish the fee to be refunded though, I'll do so. I just don't understand the sentence "I agree" anymore as it clearly doesn't have any power or meaning atall. The funny part is that I asked for a 300M deposit which he didn't have and after a long time of asking if I could lower, I said I'll do 50m worth of deposit BUT 1 term: there'll be only VERY SMALL jobs at first and He'd have to earn my trust. The entrance fee still came though.

The only mistake I made in that contract was that I named the 100M as "deposit" BY accident. The 50M should've been named under "deposit" whereas the 100M should've been "entrance fee" to cover post-firing situations. On the other hand he agreed when I told him "permanently" and "kept". I also, later AND before, mentioned that It's not a deposit, but It's a security precaution (the 100M) for postfiring situations. Contacting Nostalgia now to refund him the money...

You got an HCIM job with account details. You agreed on training slayer, then bailed, then said u can quest or train fishing/thieving and you forgot to do that entirely. I clearly said I have the money for the bond, you just never got back to me. Second occasion, you said u can't take a job, because You're too crowded with jobs and that You're extremely picky. If You're too picky and if You're too crowded with jobs why even apply?

You're making it sound like I haven't even tried giving u any jobs which is COMPLETELY false. Most jobs just don't suit your appetite.

im not sure why you are so angry. 50% of the jobs you offered for me to do I told you many many times i wouldn't do, asking me again wouldn't change that. the other 50% i quoted for and was never given the job. You can keep cherrypicking small pieces of our conversation out if you want but the fact remains that the ENTIRETY of our conversation was read by multiple mods and they made a decision.

Nothing more embarrassing than what? refusing jobs that you've said you won't do even though they get offered to you 10 times at venezualan prices? Or not being able to refund someone 100m because you dont have the gold?

I believe you do this to multiple workers (take a deposit and then offer then horrific jobs and try to steal their deposit), otherwise why are you finding it so hard to accept I don't want to work for you? There is no safeguard in place to protect workers from people who are doing this kind of deposit scheme but thankfully the mods have sided with me on this occasion, I can only hope that a more concrete ruling is put into place to prevent future workers from signing up to such blatent shady practices on the back of promises for great jobs and great vouches.

I am truely thankful that I have been able to get out of this job, as by all other accounts, some of your previous workers have found themselves logging into accounts that have then had passwords changed and accounts wiped and been held responsible for there 'deposits' while quite clearly not at fault.

At this stage you are really flogging a dead horse, so please stop stalling, asking me if I will drop to a lower settlement and flaming me. When I have done nothing for you.

Firstly, I'm not angry. Secondly, just cause you call a job "horrific" doesn't mean It's horrific for someone else? I never told you you'd get good money out of this while working for someone, did I? How can I give you good jobs at a deposit of 50M instead of 300M? I told you "SMALL JOBS ONLY" at start. You got impatient and now this happened... And It's not embarrassing that I don't have the ENTIRE 100M right now, I don't like to keep my gold on mules, I like my money moving around. Thirdly, It's funny how You're making urself look stupid now, calling this a scheme when It's not. It's how I run my business, how I make things work, if you don't like it, don't agree to my terms next time and then backfire when you get impatient. I never "scam" deposits, nor do I scam my clients (vouches speak for themselves). That incident where a worker logged onto a client's account and cleaned it is a perfect example of a shitty worker that steals my reputation and my clients' money in order to scamquit. That's why I want a post-firing precaution fee to keep fuckers like these away. You clearly didn't even read the report to the end, I always fix mistakes caused by me or my workers with money, I never leave clients unhappy (Atleast I try my best to do so). Also, where are u taking the "quite clearly not at fault" when you don't even know shit. You don't even know what "I agree" means. I'll get you the remaining 36M ASAP.

That's true? I even stated that to you multiple times. I clearly asked for a bigger deposit at the start of our conversation, but u couldn't provide so I had to think of PLAN B: smaller depo, smaller jobs.
