I really got to say lol to you. When V1 came, there were no dager about bans, just because there was like max 20people using this. Now there is probably 10x that amount so that means FaGex will check the MTA more often than before.

This will probably happen in the PC bot, but in V1 there will still be so much people who buys it. So i think when PC bot comes, MTA is a bit safer than now.

But as theres so many pestcontrollers already (mean the peoples using it), its harder to catch botters, and they will probably quit after a while. (Unless they find a good way of finding botters.

I think botting is never safe, and I know it. I wont use any kind of bots on my main anymore. So im probably getting my pure to member, and use MTA bot on it.

if it helps, i only used this account on the last version of RID. not any previous versions, so it was safe to say that the last version was relatively safe

 

Version 3.03 of the MTA bot ran the whole of June without a single bot being detected by automated systems. Out of 300 players to use the bot in this time, there was only one ban given to the player at the very top of the charts in terms of hours used. A lot of people ignore our advice to limit time to an average of no more than 8 hours a day and get away with it, but he took it to a more extreme level than anyone else, getting to 99 magic and making about 50M in just 3 weeks or so. He realises over-use led to the ban.

I can understand there being some level of concern, because in the past Jagex have used unconventional means to catch people using this bot, but that does not necessarily mean it will happen again in the future.

Version 4 will be a much improved program. The bot's actions will not even be programmed in or scripted as such, the bot will be capable of doing anything at any time and will decide what to do for itself, with each bot having it's own preferences and characteristics. Theoritically this design will be impossible to detect, and I look forward to seeing how it gets on. V4 isn't just a graphics patch, it will be our biggest update so far.

I disagree with the idea that using bots will always be a risk. The quote from my sig is genuine (http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarticle.ws?article_id=567, you will find this quote in the paragraph below the picture of the lvl-3 woodcutter), and knowing first hand a bot can be programmed to operate the keyboard and mouse the exact same way a human does, I agree with A Gower. What I will say is it's very hard to beat them, but I remember doing some research before I made this bot and Jagex's stance back then according to their website was, and I quote, 'there is no such thing as an undetectable macro' which shows how much technology has improved. Lets just enjoy it and see where the next generation of programs take us.

Also grats to Jagex on the graphics update, the scenery looks great.

 

Yeah don't let my ban detour you from buying or using the bot In no way was it RID's fault that I got banned, it was my own for over using the bot. Unfortunately when you have sleep insomnia, playing rs for 20+ hours a day doesn't seem to far fetched but Jagex doesn't understand that. Of course I've never played for that long, I can't stand to play more than a few hours haha(which is why I got banned )

I look forward to using the bot on a brand new fresh character when the release of v4.0 comes out Except I'll listen to RID :'(

Can you use the old version of the bot on the low detailed version of RuneScape?

I'm very excited for the release of the new RID mage bot. It sounds like an excellent program, with 9 out of 10 reviews coming back positive, not to mention the low ban rate.

 

I got a 0.5 blackmark ban (like everyone did) while using V2 of this bot and haven't used it since. I was wondering if it would be semi-safe to use V4 of this bot now.

 

i don't know if anyone remembers my name or not, but ive gotten from 55-87 magic with this bot, and wasn't banned once (v2)

was then trading the account with somebody here on sythe, and he took all my money that i had gained (roughly 23-28 million)
sold the account, made some money IRL, had some fun, then decided to make a completely new account

new account is 80 mage and the second MTA v4 comes out i'll be purchasing 200 hours without a doubt
