    I snipped the key points of your post and already have one thing to say:

    WHAT?! IE8's got more holes than your kitchen sponge and always will until Micro$loth gets rid of their 'Browser Updates' which in short allows for 1% convenience and 99% trojans getting on your computer without you even knowing.
