Abortion : Right or Wrong?

It has always been the mothers choice.

 

I am pro-choice. If someone were raped, and were to become pregnant, most likely they wouldn't want a baby.

Also if someone were young, and they made a stupid mistake that they later reflected on and regretted. They should have a choice to un-do that decision. Sorry for not the greatest grammar/reasons, it's early in the morning.

 

I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH YOU! It's not fair forcing a person to keep a baby they don't want, they should always have the option to have it removed before any damage is done.

Abortion is not morally wrong, as the baby is not a separate life.

It is also the business of only the mother and father, as it concerns only them.

 

I believe abortion is a situational thing to be dealt with. There are many acceptable cases for abortion, such as a rape victim who would have been forced to birth a child in the aftermath, or a well structured family that is already well on its way and doesn't have room or want for an addition. The only thing that makes me irate is unwed teenage mothers who got pregnant from keeping her legs open to the football team or something similar. I'm not saying birthing a child should be punishment, or even that they should keep the fetus, but they are not as deserving as other candidates for abortion.

 

I don't see why they're not as deserving.

 

Because 17 yr old whores don't deserve the same treatment as 25 yr old married whores...

 

Why must you go into racial details? No one asked is it right for a white girl to have an abortion if she is raped by a black male. Race has nothing to do with abortion. Rapes happen all the time and is not always done by black male. So get your head out of the gutter and stop being a racist prick.

On to topic, I believe that the government has no right to tell you what you can and can't do to your body. If a woman decides to have an abortion it should be none of their business whether she goes through with it or not.

Ageism is not necessarily justified. Most 17 year olds are rational - why would they have fewer rights than a 25 year old?

 

Unless the baby was going to suffer or you got raped, it should love.

I wouldn't consider them responsible people, but the choice remains theirs to make.

In any case, the baby is not a separate being, and therefore, undeserving of rights.

 

Not everyone gets pregnant from NOT using contraceptives... The pill doesn't always work and condoms DO break. However YOU, as a typical sterotyping jerk can't see that because your under developed brain fails too see anythign except YOUR side of the arguement.

How is a girl who has been with the same guy for possibly her entire sexually active life and just made the mistake of being pregnant a whore ?? they aren't. The little sluts that you run around too who hook up with a different guy every other week THEY are the whores.

In all hoesty, based on the fact i had too make a choice between baileys life and abortion. You shouldn't base the decision on yourself... It is your duty too raise the child happily if you can... But if you can't provide a sustainably good life for your child then you should possibly consider abortion...

So what because the woman has too GIVE BIRTH too the baby and go through the pain then man has no say ??? If this is how the relationship is going then clearly the relationship[ isn't going to last until the babys 3rd birthday and you should just get the abortion and split up there and then.



I would also like too remind you all that until you are actually in the situation of having too choose between the life and death of your child you might understand. Until you have experienced it you can't HONESTLY say what you would do. Trust me my mind changed as soon as i saw the first ultrasound.

And i haven't regretted the decision once. i have a beatiful baby and he is probably the one thing that stopped me from becoming a druggie homeless prick

Absolutely... Just as they should have the same right too choose whether they live or die but euthanasia isn't a topic that belongs in an abortion thread.
