[IRC] Channel management

This is a basic guide on how to manage your own channel and protect it from attacks.
Note: Only works on SytheIRC or similar.

1. Access
/cs set #chan xop off - Use this to set your xops off so you can give the following access
/cs access #chan add nick level
(3 is +Voice, 4 is %Halfop, 5-9 is @Op, 10-9999 is &Admin)
/cs access #chan del nick - Use this to delete a nick off of access list
/cs access #chan clear - Use this to clear access list
/cs access #chan list - Use this lists the access list

2. Set
/topic #chan Newtopic - This sets your new topic in your channel
/cs set #chan secureops on - This turns on secure ops
(All you need to know is regular ops can not op someone not on access list if secureops is set)
/cs set #chan secureops off - This turns off secure ops
/cs set #chan founder nick - This sets a nick founder
/cs set #chan password NewPassword - This sets a new channel password to your channel
/cs set #chan mlock +modes - use this to lock your modes so they can not be changed and will always stay set
/cs set #chan mlock -modes - This unsets all your locked modes you have set
/cs set #chan entrymsg message - This is used to set an entry message to your channel

3. Register/ID
/cs register #chan password description - This is used to register your own channel (Note: You must be in the channel and have op to register it)
/cs identify #chan Chanpassword - This makes you become owner of the channel
/cs logout #chan nick - This logs yourself out, or someone else out of channel
/cs drop #chan - This drops your channel

4. Bans
/cs ban #chan nick - This bans user using channel services
/cs unban #chan nick - This unbans a user using channel services
/cs clear #channel bans - This clears all bans in the channel

5. Protecting
Protecting your channel is something to know if you ever are attacked by people spamming or anything else. Be sure you give your access out to people that you trust.

/mode #chan +m - Sets your channel on moderate. This means that anyone trying to talk that doesn't have voice can not talk.

/mode #chan +G - Sets your channel to G rated. This means that if anyone is swearing in your channel, this will get rid of it and show "*"

/mode #chan +j 2:15 - This protects you from people rejoining your channel too many times. What this means is that a person can only join 2 times out of every 15 seconds.

/mode #chan +f 3:5 - This protects your channel from getting flooded. What this command means is that you can only say 3 lines per 5 seconds. Once someone exceeds that amount they will be kicked out of the channel.

/mode #chan +n - This should always be set but sometimes people try to unset it. When you have this anyone out of the channel can send notices to your channel.

/mode #chan +i - This sets your channel to Invite only. If you don't want people in your channel and they keep joining non-stop you can set it to invite only. (Note: to invite people use /cs invite #chan Nick, or /invite nick #chan)

/mode #chan +k keyhere - This sets a key to your channel where only someone can that knows it can join (Note: to join when key is set use /join #chan keyhere)
