A Really Important Question About Spam

hey i have a really important question about spam.

I've been really wanting to get into the sythe community and answering questions and getting into different types of topics. I have been playing rs since 2001 on and off so i basically can answer any questions anyone might have for runescape. Anyways i also like to get into topics and guides and ask questions in threads i find interesting. I DO NOT post in threads i don't know to increase my post count. Any ways I've browsed through the user education guides and I've found a great deal of them to be very interesting so i decided to post on a lot of them. I posted questions, comments, compliments, etc. Then i go to the first page and i find out that most of the last posts are by me :S. But i posted legitimate replies, and NOT things such as good job, good guide, etc (i would post these kind of things but id back it up). Would that be considered spamming :S? And i am talking about other forums too such as runescape pictures which i like to comment on a lot and rs guides and others? so would posting a lot by providing legitimate posts not just 2 words but actually trying to get involved get me an infraction?

And what if like the first 4 pages out of like 70 were filled with me being as last replies but legitimate posts as i just browse through pages of guides and post on the ones i find interesting would that be considered spamming and would it get me an infraction?

i just want to know.. :S

A Really Important Question About Spam

Aslong as your post has something to do with the topic, or question asked, then you are safe from spam.

You really shouldn't be worried. Just don't act like an idiot and you'll be fine.

A Really Important Question About Spam

Wrong, You can get done for "Grave Digging" a thread, if you post on a topic that has not been posted on for over 2 week's, then you are considered "Grave Digging" and you may get reported/infracted.

Take your time to read the sythe rules, you might find your answer in there:

Grave Digging should not be punished too severely I don't think because even Kisschasy does it... if you heard black dress.

Lol, I have been infracted for saying without evidence. Although, my reply was at that time relevant to the topic, I did not add detailed elaborations to make my reply more convincing. So guys out there, be careful.

Don't worry, if you notice the UE section isn't exactly swarming at the moment. And if nearly all post were from you and were constructive, then well done, but I suggest you don't post on topics that have been dead for 2 weeks or more, unless it's really necessary.
The UE team is always looking for new additions, if you are good at putting time into neat well written guides, sign up. Good way to get into the community.
