How many times have you read the owner of a thread saying "Stop gravedigging this thread, let it die!" well I thought the owner of the thread should be able to put threads down (lol)

Also, maybe to be able to view threads b4 the owner edits them. because sometimes when you read posts it is extremely confusing to tell what they are talking about. lol. ok thanks for your time.

I think that threads that haven't been accessed for more than 2 weeks (or whatever the time is) should be automatically locked until the owner wants to have it unlocked. That's just my 2 cents.

Go to advanced options when you're replying, and you can see every post in order ;). And the thread thing is kinda pointless, you can keep making threads, and posting, then delete them before someone see's it.

yeah threads that haven't been views or posted on for more than two weeks should indeed be locked.. or otherwise anyone who posts except the owner would be considered gravedigging but still.

I think the option to delete a post should only be there if there are no replies after it. Same with editing. You should not be able to edit a post if there are replies after it. (UNLESS IT IS THE FIRST POST AND YOU ARE THE OWNER OF THE THREAD)...

so you can do like games and shit.

Other things like "don't post, let it die" is a bump in itself... so no.

I agree, threads which are not active for 2 weeks should be locked / deleted/ moved to the archives. This will stop spammers from flooding the forum.
