Tv or Computer?

I don't watch TV, Computer INCLUDES TV lol.

 

How bout both combined together? HDTV plugged into the computer...Man the gaming experience will be awesome. However, too bad SONY HDTV 32-inch is US$1300 and the requirements for a computer with great graphic card, quad-core proscessor and 2GB RAM cost like US$1400+....total is US$2700+ but totally worth it...

 

If you think $3000 is a lot of money for a computer, honestly do not get in to the animation industry.

Anyway, computer is the obvious choice.

I chose the computer obviously.

 

I like both, But i guess you can do a lot more on computer and you can't always pick what you want on T.V

 

Just food for thought, go back many years ago one would without a doubt choose a T.V. Why? Because computers were the size of an entire room back then.

Now T.V. can be considered a somewhat 'primitive' means of transmitting data at a set time that can be fetched from the internet anyway. This also leads to the questions: "Will computers be of much use to us in the future? Will something surpass their usefulness?"

To provide a logical explanation as to why I chose computers, consider the following:
　- T.V. must use a set time-frame to deliver limited content.
- One must watch T.V. at this set time-frame in order to receive this limited data/content.
- Those who know how to illegally download series' of shows, or by other means watch them on the internet seldom watch T.V. because there is no need.
- Some who watch T.V. may only watch it socially.

It is only a matter of time before even the new high-definition mediums have reached the end of their usefulness. I see no point in investing many thousands of dollars in to an "enourmous" (which is usually quite small in ratio to the wall behind it) plasma screen T.V. or liquid crystal display T.V., when you may watch the same content on a small cheap one, or even from a computer moniter.

And I do prefer the computer, but family time is usually in the living room, and the television is usually on, so on some occasions I do prefer the television

Like i previously said, this is kind of biased opinion considering this is done on through the internet. Lol.

I voted for computer, i only watch like 3 shows on TV.
