    Closing Doors To New Members?

if you don't want scammers getting back into the site why not just close the doors for new users or make new users have to pay to make an account... i think this would lower scammers in sythe greatly.. as a scammer knows if he gets this account banned there's many more he can scam using proxies but he wouldn't think that anymore, and also to increase someone not to scam.. don't let non members have access to guides etc. like fagex, so that, if they scam once, but want to come back for the guides, if the site is locked they can't even view the guides, and hence this shall encourage less scammers :S

This isn't Fagex, and I highly doubt this site will ever actually charge members to join. That's just stupid.

Basically what viper just said, but im going to add upon it.

I was struck with a TWC a while back ago, so im going to say this.

I could go upon a scamming spree. Anyway to stop me? No, because i am a member of this site for over a year, and have over 2k posts which gives me some trust upon the other members.
You make me pay a certain fee to use this site, ill pay it, make 20x that back, and never look back.

But not just me, anyone could do as i just said.

How would you liked it if they closed the doors the same day you decided to join? Wouldn't like it very much would you.

It does have 2 perspectives. If you do charge people to join it lesses the number of scammers although the growth of the site with grow small. But anyone has the power to scam. Even if they are trusted there is still a chance they will scam you.

guys the growth of the site is already 116k members.. that should be more than enough..there are two benefits to this.. firstly we know that the site goes down because too many people are on and the server can't handle it, and secondly i am not saying ALL scammers will dissapear just a great percentage of them, anyways 116k is way more than enough members, and the community would be way more loyal, kind, and without scammers, and making a community without scammers is a success and isn't that what sythe is striving for? and anyways i heard of a program that can detect proxies, like i go on this ip chcecker and it detects i am on a proxy so can't sythe use that? and it doesnt matter what you'll feel like tj... its to stop scammers on this site once and for all and i think this is the best solution BY FAR!

How about you type in proper sentences with punctuation? It will make it easier to read.

Now onto the main point. I could pay $5 to join Sythe, but then I could scam some level 138 account. That is worth much more than $5 isn't it? The 116,000+ counts the banned people as well if I'm not mistaken. And most of the members just go to Sythe.org to buy a membership, and then become inactive for about 6 months, and then come back for another membership.
